Profile
Deledio started the year of brilliantly, posting 132 against Gold Coast and dominating in the first half against Carlton, before he injured his achilles. He didn't return until round 7 and it was a difficult period for him. But as the Tigers improved, so did Lids, averaging 109PPG, from round 15-24, playing predominately as a forward, where he could avoid the tag and cause problems for defences.
I expect Lids to be given DPP next year, as he played around 70% of the time up forward after round 12 (taken from Champion Data) and even played a little up forward before that. Lids gaining DPP, would make him one of, if not the most, selected player in the game, as you can essentialyl have another gun mid in your team. He's a lock for me.
Pros - Possible DPP, Durable, won't get tagged (if up forward)
Cons - May not get as much mid time, Can post shockers (when tagged)
Prediction - 102-105

Priced within a few K of Gray/Dustin and 11k more expensive than Buddy. Would make for some interesting decisions. Lids has more runs on the board than Gray, I'd probably go him over Robbie.
Will be locking him in if he is given DPP (which I think he's a good chance for as well, called it a while back :P). Playing forward really added another string to his bow this year and made it harder for teams to tag him late in the season.
I'm confident he will. He didn't get much mid time at all, when Miles started playing because we didn't need him 8)
Beautiful human being who will look great in my fantasy forward line next to Dusty. 8)
if he's DPP, then he's close to a lock (amongst many other fwd premo options)
as a pure mid, pass
He gets that all important DPP he will be locked in down forward

This says it all really
Yeh fwd status is the big one. And also his foot injury which he battled with this year. Will have to keep an eye on that
This is what I've been trying to say, Lids was a full-time fwd in the second half of they year, he hardly got any mid time. Has to get DPP, IMO.
QuoteAfter battling injury throughout the first half of 2014, Deledio averaged just under 26 disposals per game, 9.4 contested possessions, and kicked 17 goals from Round 12 onwards, playing as a full-time half-forward, rather than in his customary midfield role.

well based on that then, lock in Jelwood for DPP too (Geelong twitter actually states him starting as forward, even with SJ out of the side - Game vs GC iirc) :P
yeah, I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm not holding my breath

Haha, yeah I remember Jelwood playing fwd a couple of games, because I had him in my side >:(
It's not like it was one game like Joel though, Lids played forward every game from round 12 onwards.
Only game if he's got DPP, no way will he be within the top scorers as a mid.
DPP for 2015.
Sitting next to Swanny and Goddard for me.
Yeh locked now. Only concern would be his foot injury, but from what I've read he should be fine
