Profile

Prestia joined the 100+ group in 2014, finishing the season as the 26th highest averaging midfielder. He continued to be a consistent performer having only scored below 80 six times in the past two seasons but needs to improve on some of his lower scores to be consider among the elite premiums. I'd imagine Dion will continue to be an unfashionable pick (only 2.9% owned him by the end of 2014) but at just 22 it's hard to believe he's reached the peak of his powers already. A kick here and a handball there and suddenly he'll be averaging exactly what you'd want from a premo. You could do a lot worse than having a nibble on the Meatball.

Pros - Big ball winner, improving each year

Cons - Had pretty low marking numbers in the back end of the season

Prediction - 99-103

If there wan't such appealing options at a similar price I'd have a crack again....
Was one of the players that was particularly hurt by Gary's injury

Assuming he doesn't go backwards, worst case you get a mid who averages 100.
Best case he become Elite and you are one of 3% that own him.

Tempting...

Prestia scorches the track as Suns get back to work

DION Prestia has continued where he left off from last season, winning the first time trial of Gold Coast's pre-season.

Prestia overtook second-year defender Kade Kolodjashnij in the final 200m of the 2km trial to edge out the youngster, who had led the entire way.

Midfielders Alex Sexton and David Swallow were third and fourth respectively, while young defender Clay Cameron rounded out the top-five.

Blimey... this guy is tempting me, pass at this stage, but as mentioned above, has the capacity to go elite. Most teams have more than 1 player who can average 100-105+. Why can't this guy join Ablett?
