SYDNEY SWANS
This is a great fixture for fans, with so many big matches played at the SCG and ANZ Stadium. It is great to have a number of Friday night matches fixtured at the SCG. We expect the Thursday night clash with Port Adelaide in round 14 to be another blockbuster fixture. We continue to push for at least six matches in Victoria and while we understand the challenges with the expansion of the competition, we are disappointed this is not the case for 2015. These big games certainly bring some challenges from a football perspective, but overall we believe this to be an incredibly exciting season ahead. - CEO Andrew Ireland
Random thoughts
Its early days, but I would think 19 wins looking at the draw?
Losses to either Port or Dockers away early. Hawks at the G, Cats at SS.
Really soft finish to the season.
We need to switch on early in 2015 or we could be looking down the barrel of 1-3 after 4 games.

LOL - nup - fixed :P
Its been a while since we've played the Eagles at home.
I like the teams we're playing twice, Port and Hawks should be the only challenges.
No Tigers at the MCG! 8)
Tippett doesn't get to visit Adelaide once again :P
i like the two games in Perth!! :P

Yep not since 2014. Just noticed you guys are going for 9 in a row against WCE next year.
So we play the other 5 teams from the top 6 away and also play the cats and Hawks at home.
I dont think the cats will worry us much though this year.
2 trips to Perth sucks but you have to win away to win the GF.
Soft draw at the end isnt ideal for finals preparation either

wow i would not have guessed that. HArd to believe after the tussles we had
17 wins I reckon.
There were only a couple of teams this year that won the week after they played in Perth and we play Crows and Dogs after PErth. Crows will be an interesting game after the Perth trip
Only 5 games in Melbourne as well

2 losses to the hawks? :P
Obviously. ;)
My gut feeling is there'll be 3/4 losses to top teams and 1/2 surprise losses.
I don't think we'll lose at home next year unless we do what we did at the beginning of this year again or if we just rest people for no reason
4 games in Melbourne. Geelong doesn't count, their admin are tightarses when it comes to tickets to the opposition supporters.
The world is cruel and cold. We were promised 8 Melbourne games back in the 80s :'(
The AFL think Geelong and Launceston are in Melbourne - We are supposed to get 6 games a year as well but only 5. Suns and Giants do better with their draw so easy to see who the AFL favour with no consideration to the roots of both Lions and Swans.
