Bit hard for him when he gets used at both ends so much as its one of his strenghts. Wonder if taking that away from him makes him improve and climb into a regular spot, or just pushes him further down the pecking order because he loses his versatility

Didn't expect it actually. Really happy though, both have been good. Big fan of Willsmore.
Webster is a great story, 48th pick in the rookie draft and a year later is on the senior list of the premiers. Still got a hell of a long way to go to get a game, as does Willsmore.
Then there's James Sicily... ;)

List Assessment
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-11-22/aflcomaus-list-assessment
Draft selections: 31, 49, 50, 68, (committed to promoting rookie Dallas Willsmore), 77 (committed to promoting rookie Zac Webster).
Defenders: Luring Brian Lake was a masterstroke but it became increasingly clear last season the Hawks needed a succession plan. Enter James Frawley. The 26-year-old ex-Demon instantly eased concerns about the key defensive posts. With Ryan Schoenmakers staying put, the Hawks bat deep and can plan ahead for Lake and Josh Gibson's retirements. Of the running types, Grant Birchall and Matt Suckling have plenty of football left, Taylor Duryea provides pace and steel and Angus Litherland has emerged as a versatile option to lock-down or carry and create.
Midfielders: The engine room is still led by champions Sam Mitchell, Jordan Lewis and Luke Hodge but a raft of their younger teammates are shouldering more of the load. Hawthorn boasts game-breaking pace (Bradley Hill, Isaac Smith), toughness (Will Langford, Liam Shiels) and depth, with long-term injured duo Jed Anderson and Brendan Whitecross - plus recruit Jonathon O'Rourke - coming into calculations. The ruck stocks are in good shape, with Jon Ceglar and Ben McEvoy set to form a long partnership when David Hale retires.
Forwards: Hawthorn coped incredibly well after losing Lance Franklin, with Jack Gunston stepping up across half-forward. In Gunston, Jarryd Roughead and Luke Breust the Hawks have potency and flexibility, while Paul Puopolo brings the grunt and Cyril Rioli the X-factor. The biggest question mark is Roughead's replacement. Tim O'Brien is being groomed and Sam Grimley is set to be downgraded to the rookie list, but the Hawks could use another developing tall.
In a nutshell: It will be difficult with Hawthorn's picks, but a promising power forward would be ideal. A bullocking mid to replace Brad Sewell would also be handy.

Best 22 according to AFL.com...
B: Shaun Burgoyne, Brian Lake, Josh Gibson
HB: Grant Birchall, James Frawley, Ben Stratton
C: Isaac Smith, Sam Mitchell, Bradley Hill
HF: Luke Hodge, Jonathon Ceglar, Cyril Rioli
F: Jack Gunston, Jarryd Roughead, Luke Breust
R: Ben McEvoy, Jordan Lewis, Will Langford
I/C: Matt Suckling, Liam Shiels, Paul Puopolo
Sub: Jed Anderson
Comment: Premiership teams need to evolve, so there are three changes to the victorious Hawks line-up from last September. Matt Spangher is a cult hero, but James Frawley is an obvious key defensive upgrade. Another pre-season and the awfully unlucky Jon Ceglar might go past David Hale as the second ruck/marking key forward, while most Hawthorn supporters believe Jed Anderson is too good to leave out when fully fit. The Hawks now bat so deep that premiership trio Hale, Jon Simpkin and Taylor Duryea do not feature in this best 22. GWS recruit Jonathan O'Rourke will need to impress at Box Hill, while Alex Woodward, Billy Hartung, Angus Litherland and Ryan Schoenmakers should see plenty of senior action as well. Add Brendan Whitecross to the mix coming back from a pair of knee reconstructions and the Hawks have plenty of selection options in 2015. The rider for all this is that the Hawks don't believe in the concept of a 'best 22'. Alastair Clarkson picks teams to match-up best on the opposition, hence the selection of McEvoy over Ceglar for the Grand Final last year. - Ashley Browne

HAWTHORN'S shot at creating history by winning three premierships in a row could hinge on depth players such as returning utility Brendan Whitecross, Hawks vice-captain Jarryd Roughead says.
The Hawks are gunning for the chance to match the legendary Brisbane Lions premiership teams of 2001-03 this season, with the mantle of becoming the undisputed greatest team of the modern era also within reach.
Roughead said this year it could be Whitecross, who is on the comeback trail from a second knee reconstruction suffered in the 2013 preliminary final, who plays a crucial role in sustaining the club's period of success.
"He's been training at the moment, not fully with the group yet. But it's a long season as we all know and Hawthorn's depth has been pretty good over the last couple of years," Roughead said.
"So he'll be a vital part of where we go this year with a number of blokes as well."
Whitecross and Jed Anderson (shoulder) will be like new recruits after they missed all of last year, while key defender James Frawley and Jonathan O'Rourke are among nine off-season additions
Bolded bit an update on Whitecross for fantasy teams
Bit of a blow with Birchall getting injured. Better now than when the season starts.
4-6 weeks I think I read? Should only increase Whitecross' chances of getting a game if Birch isn't right for Round 1 (should be, but still).

Luke Breust knee ‘good as gold’ after minor incident at Hawthorn training
HAWTHORN has moved to allay fears that gun forward Luke Breust injured a knee in match simulation at Waverley Park on Friday morning.
Social media was buzzing after football commentator and former North Melbourne player David King tweeted: “Breust lands awkwardly after marking strongly. Taken immediately from field. Hopefully nothing significant. Jarred knee?? #notadoctor’’
Rumours began circulating that he had torn a ligament, but Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson said it was simply a precautionary measure and that “Breusty’s no drama’’.
“We just took him out of the game,’’ Clarkson said. “He got a bang on his calf in a marking contest, but he’ll be good as gold.’’
#notadoctor
Got that straight.

Clarkson was also hopeful second-year player Billy Hartung could crack into the senior team.
"We'd like to think he's tracking in the same pathway as Bradley Hill from a couple of years ago," he said. "We're searching for him to get more opportunities in 2015."

I have the same team, with a 3-way tie for the last bench (and likely sub) spot between Ando, Duryea and JOR. Honestly can't split them, as soon as I want to pick one I immediately feel like picking the other 2 haha.

Refer the 2 posts directly above ;)
Basically he's right on the borderline of the 21/22 meaning his JS isn't super and he is a big green-vest risk as well.
Unless someone like Hill or Smith get injured in the next 10 days and are going to be out for a while, it's going to be hard to pick him with any confidence.

I think he is still just behind the 3 I have fighting for our last spot at this stage, but obviously he will get some games at various points of the year too.
I wouldn't have him in the team, maybe an emergency spot though.
