Giles was the ideal ruckman candidate for GWS, but then they acquired cross-town Mumford for 2014. Being shunted down to Fullback, as well as anywhere but ruckman (and even out of the side come midyear) saw an inconsistent year for arguably 2012's must-have rookie. Sought a new move over the trade period, and found an ideal place at Essendon (courtesy of Ryder moving on). Will it be more of the 60s that we've seen before, or will he get the better of Bellchambers and be Essendon's leading ruckman? possibly seeing scores of 2012 proportions?
Pros - High ceiling, Possible first choice ruckman?, Cheap, Potential
Cons - Inconsistent, New club
Prediction - VERY difficult to call, but 70-75

I will be personally monitoring the NAB to see where he fits in (or if he ousts Bellchambers from ruckman)
could be a good cheapish acquisition at R3 (with another cheapish R2) if he does
on the watchlist
imo they will play both
Will depend on the likes of Kreuz/Leuy to see if there is room for another cheap ruck option.
Think he will be a good option, he's pretty handy up forward and could even overtake Bellchambers in the rucl
Could be a real ruck smokey, will keep an eye on him.
If I knew he'd average 85 I'd probably pick him. But he won't.
Hard to look past Krooz and Leuey but if Bellchambers isn't fit and Giles is the standalone ruckman than Giles could be an option
I like him, should play in tandem with Belly but I think Craig nailed it.
I think we're looking at about 75 average from him.
