An exceptional 2014 saw Sidebottom catapulted into midfield premium territory. He finished the year ranked 20th in the league for disposals, 2nd for kicks, 50th for marks and 7th for average fantasy points. Post-bye he averaged 112.6 with a low score of 94 which is exactly what you want from a premium - big ceilings and acceptable basements. He hit a speed hump in 2013 which saw his average dip and this might be viewed as a risk for the future, along with the potential for increased opposition attention but there's a lot to like about where he's headed as a fantasy player. Steele has that rare combination of high disposals, excellent kick/handball differential, strong marking and tackling numbers with regular goalkicking the icing on the cake (14 in 2014). He'll be 24 in 2015 and you'd be foolish to think he's hit his high water mark yet. Pretty much close to a lock in my opinion.

Steele has been huge for the KL Crocs this year, especially after coming back from his suspension.
And its scary considering how old he is
Kinda replaced Swanny (obviously hasn't quite reached the heights in full pig mode... yet :o ;)), but yeah... he'd had to be considered.

Steele is close to being locked into my team, the only thing stopping him will be how much the Gaz/Rocky combo costs.

Depending on byes and how many Pies you can start with, he may be a better pick then Pendles/Beams......
