We've been in pretty good form, since we were humiliated by Essendon.
I think we can get over the line, against the scum.

Flossy the sub  :o
@AFL: Final teams #AFLTigersDons - No changes. Subs: Nick Vlastuin (@Richmond_FC) and Elliott Kavanagh (@EssendonFC)

Why the flower is Flossy the sub?  ::)

#dimmacurveball is my new name and hashtag for these decisions.  :P

Anyway, it's good to see that Tank and Axel aren't the sub in their milestones and Nippa actually gets a full game.

Like most of our games, we'll either win or play shower and lose easily. Probably and hopefully the first option to see us well and truly get a grasp on the top 8, go dons

25 point win

Rubbish first quarter.

We're the Richmond Anthony Miles.

Steven Morris has directly contributed to two of the Bombers goals, out he goes.

Pretty standard for him to go missing for at least one quarter per game, usually when we need him.

Entertaining game. Cotchin my only opponent, so happy he's quiet. Ellis and Heppell on the radar for next year for breakouts.

refball is a common term used in sports, umpball doesn't sound good

24 frees to 17 when Richmond were clearly the more aggressive team. If Buckets was some pretty-boy like buddy or riewoldt and not a working-class bloke he'd have at least 20 free kicks himself, that cheat Rance was all over him at every opportunity.

Not to mention being penallised twice for what richmond were doing all game without penalty (50s)

Really? I thought the umps were pretty bad too, we hardly got a free kick in the first half.
How wasn't it a 100m penalty? One of your players didn't throw it to us on the full, then that flog Carlisle done this

They've been traveling well for 7 weeks. Could easily have had 7 in a row if they weren't against Freo and Sydney back to back

Way late to the party but I'm so glad someone else noticed this! Similarly, the Geelong game in round 7 was one where we were good enough to beat probably anyone other than those top 4 sides but put up that performance against someone we just weren't going to beat. If we played half as well in the Bulldogs and Melbourne games (hell, even in the Gold Coast and North games that were in reach), we'd comfortably be in the finals...

Think it's been more of a change off the ground. Sounds like effort and mindset have seriously changed on the track at training, and you can certainly tell! your boys are flying atm

Yup atm I'd back them vs anyone outside the top 4, which is where I thought they'd be at the start of the season. Evidently some just take longer to catch on!

I guess next week will test that... Beating the Crows in Adelaide will be tough. I'm calling it a 50/50 at the moment.

The return of onfield leaders has been massive though. Maric and Lids being healthy have, imo, made more of a difference than Miles. I think a lot of the change of mindset has come with the return of those two leaders (as well as with the complete lack of pressure once we were realistically out of finals contention).

Have a sulk buddy, we were just a better team on the night.
You don't think those 50s were there? Not throwing the ball back to the player is a 50 every day of the week and dopey Carlisle got warned by the umpire not to touch newmans throat and then he does it again right infront of him. Was the easiest 100m penalty the umpire could have paid in his life
