This week we have the split round so a Partial lock out will occur.
1. Winchester Werewolves v Bradford Badgers @ The Rose Bowl
Match of the round. Werewolves suffered first defeat and Badgers a little disappointing so who will prevail in this heavy weight clash.
2. Newcastle Falcons v Liverpool Rams @ Chester-le-street Oval
Falcons are up and down and can not afford to take the Rams lightly.
3. Manchester Magic v Crosby Cruisers @ Old Trafford
Magic should be too strong for the Cruisers
4. Huddersfield Hawks v Leeds Leeches @ Galpharm Stadium
Toss of the coin here and both teams will be seeking win to consolidate a position in the 8.
5. Blackpool Bunnies v Hastings Hurricanes @ Bloomfield Road
Another game with implications for the 8 although Hurricanes would be favourites can not afford to take the bunnies lightly.
6. Grope Lane Giants v Swindon Swaggers @ Giant Stadium
Giants were disappointing last week after a sound couple of weeks and will look to bounce back against the Badgers,
7. Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Oxford Owls @ Todmorden Sports Centre
Hedgehogs should be too strong for the Owls but can not afford to be complacent,
8. Birmingham Dragons v Nottingham Hoods @ St Andrew's Stadium
Hoods although below form over the last couple of weeks should be too strong for the Dragons.
9. Staines Steins v Swansea Breakers @ Wheatsheaf Park
This will be a toss of the coin with both teams in the bottom team of the table.
Partial lockout with Carlton, North Melbourne, St Kilda. Fremantle, GWS, Geelong, Port, Melbourne, Bulldogs and Essendon players will be locked at bounce of Carlton and North Melbourne Game Friday July 18th with remaining team players locked at bounce of West Coast and Richmond game on 25th July.
i think you might be selling us short on current for Ringo and we get Rocky back :P

anyone but Badgers >:(
Yeah Owls will not be playing finals.
Kade Kolodjashnij the latest addition to the long injury list.
Just sayin, we will welcome back Goddard, Monfries, Stephen Hill and Daniel Wells to come into the Hurricanes whom I think have won 6 in a row now ;) (Coniglio injured for too long to come back)
Well we are looking done now Walker ruled out for the rest of the year now.
So that makes it Walker and Rosa gone for the year and Sewell pretty much is as well and Hanners who knows when he`ll be back.

Hanners almost certainly back for this round. Was close last week apparently. Sydney play the Hawks in the second week of the split round too, so he's got an extra week anyway. Should be fine. Been monitoring him with interest because of AXVs. :P

Some monster scores coupled with some duds. >:(
After the end of the first week of the split round here are the results as I have them atm.
No allowances made for subs and aware some things may change with loopholes etc for second round Hedgehogs with Toby Greene looking at you. (Hedgehogs not alone btw but this one stands out).
* Indicates Captain has played.
Werewolves 859/8* v Badgers 893/8
Badgers strongly favoured here consigning Werewolves to second defeat. Werewolves struggling without Captain Gary Ablett.
Falcons 1142/9* v Rams 1005/10
Result will depend on performance of Rams Captain Harvey Bennell who will need at least 130 to make result competitive.
Magic 866/9 v Cruisers 936/10*
Magic still slightly ahead and have not named a captain as yet.
Hawks 1028/10 v Leeches 751/8
Hawks with the ascendancy here and another team still to name a captain. So may come down to the performances of both Captains.
Bunnies 992/11 v Hurricanes 777/9*
Bunnies on target for an upset here with Captain yet to play. Mundy extremely disappointing as Captain for the Hurricanes.
Giants 657/7* v Swaggers 495/4*
This will be a close game and could be decided by HGA although the swaggers have a strong sub in Savage.
Hedgehogs 713/7 v Owls 599/8
Hedgehogs favoured here and another team yet to name a captain.
Dragons 581/9 v Hoods 698/7
Hoods should win comfortably here. Suspect hoods may uise loophole as well to further consolidate their position.
Steins 527/6 v Breakers 950/8*
Breakers slightly favoured although a big game from Jack as Captain and HGA may allow the Steins to get up. Cooney as sub and Picken being subbed brought Breakers back a little.

Ok with Kurt Tippett playing we'd like to add him in for Cunningham who drops to the Emergencies to replace Brandon Jack who is not playing.
Rutten is also not playing but we don't have a starter to replace him so I guess he just stays there and we take Lonergan's score.

according to my maths Birmingham are a good chance to beat Nottingham :D
Well my Brisbane boys put a cat amongst the pigeons with Rocky (257) Hanley (228) amd Zorko (202) all scoring over 200 Sportal points.
Rocky as Captain certainly will lift the Dragons.
Scores as I have then and with no subs or HGA taken into consideration.
Werewolves 1548 v Badgers 1657
Badgers favoured here
Falcons 1601 v Rams 1399
Falcons win here
Magic 1012 v Cruisers 1167
Magic should get up here with Sloane as Capt still to play.
Hawks 1301 v Leeches 1485
Will come dow to the performance of Beams as capt for hawks.
Bunnies 1351 v Hurricanes 1203
Bunnies should get over the line here is a slight upset.
Giants 1195 v Swaggers 1231
Swaggers will win here
Hedgehogs 1498 v Owls 857
Hedgehog will win comfortably
Dragons 1458 v Hoods 1115
Dragons have the score on the board but Hoods still a slight chance with players left.
Steins 1179 v Breakers 1340
Still could go either way with breakers throwing away early lead with substitute players Cooney and beams.
Stew when OOP is played score is rounded up so you go up to 1640

Wow Scott Thompson out too, great.
If Ringo does this them what's the point of the +20? I have no one left so my score is added up.
But Ringo can make a mistake Lez and that is my double check. As I have said a fair bit of manual manipulation in getting scores from Sportal and that leaves me open to errors. So by posting scores I get a double check Would hate to give the Badgers a loss because I have dione something incorrectly and do not have that double check available.
So you're telling me cause Rusty had Melksham as sub and he didn't play, he gets no sub?
That's what happened to me in that situation and it cost me the game which sucks.

You will still win but a couple of adjustments required
Morabito OOP so you only get half score of 17. Which is also your HGA. TYou will however sub Simpkin for Morabito so your score reduces to 1901.
Thought HGA is the unmodified score?
The rule States the Lowest playing score is HGA with Lowest playing score the definitive JB. Another rule we may have to look at although not a lot of OOP used throughout season.

Table now is interesting and last round of fixtures will decide -
Top Position now up for grabs between Hedgehogs and werewolves
The all important 4th Position will be decided between Magic, Falcons and Hoods.
8th position is up for grabs should the Rams upset the Hawks and look at the % of all teams challenging may be important.

If you had named Josh Green sub you would have won. Having a non playing sub probably cost you the game so it's not as bad as it looks for the Werewolves.
