Can Demons cause a massive upset over Port this round? Don't think they will, but can never rule it out ;).
Honestly feel like the Dees will put up a fight to start with, but the Power will run away easily as the game goes on
Chris Dawes is a big out for us - Really only looking to see defensive pressure kept up for the whole game
Im actually worried about this game, we dont have a good track record in the top end and lost there to the Dogs last year despite being hot favourites. :/
PEAR
Port by 50+
Port probably by a chunk of goals they get in the 4th quarter
Hate watching games at TIO. Wet weather humid crap. Port should win comfortably still
Playing up north could be an interesting factor and might make the game a tad closer, but the Power to stay top.
The dees to win 3 in a row!
Port are just too good at the moment. awesome to watch
Dawes is a massive massive loss for the Dees. They'll get plenty of ball but without him up front they'll break down across half fwd
Think it'll be closer than most will expect but Port are too good
Port playing good brand of football and although Dees will be competitive think Port will pull away in 4th quarter.
Port will win, but I'm expecting Melbourne to keep it close.

Except the game is in Alice Springs, not Darwin. It is a dry heat there so the standard of footy should be good.
Weather meant to be fine and a top of 22 degrees on Saturday afternoon in Alice Springs.
Port should win.

Beat me to it.
I dont think the fantasy scores will suffer at all based on this.
A convincing Port win, Dawes out is a huge blow.

Me too! Sick of that flowering spud Toumpas. Just develop him in the VFL for the whole year is what I'd vote for.
My boys probably will get beaten. But will be looking to see if we can maintain defensive pressure throughout, and not let the flood gates open at any point. Another match like we had against sydney, and I'd be satisfied.

Don't really understand the hate for him
I think is going to be a lot closer then their ladder positions show
Reckon the Demons will keep the Power to about 80-85 points, but won't be able to score more than 40-50 themselves

In 15 minutes you'll know. Surely it will be Neade or Young.
Yeah I got Mitchell too, I'm fairly sure it will be Neade/Young but we will see.
yeah Mitchell won't be sub, 16 tackles in 2 weeks plus goals and is a great runner....i think he slots perfectly into what Port wanna do
Thanks guys. Yes Jake Neade would have to be odds on, closely followed by young, who seems to have been sub most weeks.
Moore is the sub for Port.
Melbourne's sub announced too.
@AFL: #AFLDeesPower - No changes. Subs: Jimmy Toumpas (@melbournefc) and Andrew Moore (@PAFC)
Thanks JROO8. In comes mitchell. I had him last year hoping he would produce the scores hes produced this year. Hopefully better luck in 2104 for kane.

Don't really understand the hate for him
Just not a fan of his sooky attitude, like, when he has a bad game, he takes it to heart and makes people feel sorry for him. Well, at least that's my perception of him.
Compare that attitude to Jack Viney and then the gap can be clearly seen by all.
But I sincerely hope he proves me wrong and turns out to be a great player. I support his development, but he shouldn't be playing IMO, not this year.
Wow Traeger Park is a massive oval - very wide!
Expect a pretty uncontested and free flowing game with so much space
Got Impey on my forward bench in DT and that's it for this game. :(
Oh dear.
Anyone see the injury to Boak at all - Limped off the ground according to reports,
Great start KMitch.
I don't think the 20 point margin is a reflection on the game, Melbourne have been pretty good that 1st quarter.

Yeah glad I went Buddy over Wingard but to be honest I didn't even consider him once. Gray and him have basically swapped roles so now Wingard has become to goal reliant for a good SC score.

Wingard has spent some time in the mids today (believe it or not). Needs to find the ball.
Also looks like Gray is spending more time forward today as a consequence.

Not even for bench cover? He'll outperform Taylor in the long run so could be a handy floater.

Having fallen prems as bench cover is always ideal, but in reality it never eventuates for me because trades are required elsewhere
If I could somehow enter the finals with spares trades them absolutely, but it rarely happens for me
If Melbourne win I'll change my DP for them for the rest of the year :-*
