Question:
Who will win?
Option 1: Tigers

Option 2: Giants

Tigers have been disappointing and a loss here will have the dogs barking louder for Hardwicks scalp. Think they will scrape home. Will the Toby Greene incident have an effect on Giants mentality?
hmm
I guess it depends which Richmond team shows up on the weekend as to whether they can win or not.
Could go either way. Giants, just.

I am nervous, very nervous.
Funny thing is we played them round 22 last year and won by 121 points.
What a dramatic dive in confidence since then.
Still think Richmond win but not by much
Richmond under the blow torch all week and just have to win this, HAVE TO. Tigers. :-\
At the moment GWS have the worst form side in the competition, Richmond will get home
If Mummy, Cameron, Treloar, Hampton a few other return, they are in with a chance
I hope Miles plays for the Tigers. Richmond should win this one.
What happens to Hardwick if the tigers lose?
Tigers will win by under 3 goals

Tigers will win and win well. Spotlight is firmly on them now, they have to be convincing in this game.
We really need to win this. Miles should come in, Maric is probably a couple games away. Astbury and Vlastuin are two that won't play due to injury, will be interesting to see who gets dropped.
Tigers by 35 points.
Richmond just
Callan Ward please go huge 8)

This is D day for the Tiges and are not sure how it is going to pan out :-\

Had the exact same choice dude, about 7 minutes ago, I chose Cameron. If Lennon looks good again, maybe jump on next week.
No Lloyd so pulled the trigger and brought in Cameron, if he's sub I will spit the dummy.

Loss of a club legend = emotionally draining
Milestone for a current champion = emotionally uplifting
The same thing happened for Melbourne with Stynes. Although they were already a bad team, they were particularly poor in round 1 after Stynes' death.
Hartung or Lennon??

Was really tempted to grab Lennon over Cameron this week as well but I think I will just jump on him next week (maybe for Ambrose or someone) instead. Hopefully he has a good one today!

Lennon is a beautiful kick.

They have sparingly using him and Patton in that role during the season.
Jack starting on the half-back line and getting the clearance which set up the Vickery goal very unusual.
Good start Jroo.
Jroo is everywhere. Hardwicks' foot having an influence early ;)
flower Jacko looks hurt.
Just missed out on bringing in Lennon because I thought it was a 1:50 start and Fox Footy only went live to the ground seconds before the bounce. I like to see the player run out on the ground if I can, to make sure they aren't a late out. Very poor coverage.
At least I can bring him in next week for the same price but hopefully Hartung and Cameron aren't sub as I want 2.
Dusty got done twice in 2 mins. Bloody hell

I know the competition is showerhouse, but I think we should be a top 8 side. Unfortunately, it may already be too late.
If you should be a Top 8 side, you would be. You guys are doing well today but no point pretending, you are where you at because you have been playing shower footy.
Remember last year? ??? Yeah Cotchspud aint no Dangerfield :P
Why pass it Cotchin ::)
I have Cotchin who got -2 in the first 1/4
I also have Ward who has gone -3 for this 1/4.
Everyone blamed injury when I said GWS has gone backwards but now its even clearer than ever where they're at.
Have absolutely 0 defensive pressure now against a team who's best players are getting tagged out of the game.

Thanks captain obvious. I'm not saying we deserve to be top 8. I'm saying that we're a good enough side to be top 8 and we haven't been playing like it. When we play our best footy (see today), we're definitely a finals side. Unfortunately, this is the first time we've played it all season.
Also, I'm obviously biased, but it looks like Richmond players are being held at every ball up.

You're welcome. There are quite a few teams that when they play their "best footy" they are a Top 8 side. But the Top 8 sides are there because they have been playing good footy consistently. So no I don't think Richmond should be there. None of your players have improved bar maybe a couple. The other sides have improved far more than you have.

Also, it's amazing how a lot of opposition fans are quick to bash us... In the context of our season, this win is massive. 10 touches that quarter for a measly 22 points.
The game was pretty much over by then though, so there's not many points up for grabs.
I've got him too, but if he gets to 80+ I'll be happy.
Miles would have kicked 12 goals by now
ohhh man Shiel cops a knee right to the face
he missed!!! NO!!!
GWS fans cheering for Jack lol

Cotchin sucks.
Cotchin is an absolute gun!!
He lifted that's for sure.
Ward dies after 1/4 time, which is a bummer for my AF

I know what a joke.
At least Cotch got a bit of the ball after quarter time.
I'm pretty happy with the 92, which should get scaled up. They missed two of his disposals in the first quarter.
Lennon 83 DT but only 63 SC.
YAY ELLIS! So annoyed with him last week (brought him in for AF and SC... whoops!) but was solid this week.
Yeah flower off Ward.

12 contested possessions at 83%. 7 clearances, 5 tackles, 4 1%s, 5 I50's
Pretty clear why he got 95
Why do people have to compare DT to SC scores? When looking at someone's SC score, completely ignore what they got in DT, as they're scoring systems are different. I honestly don't get people sometimes.
Cotch scores 90 in 3 quarters, good comeback.

Well when deciding wether to bring in a player its worth noting.
Might bring them in for one comp and not the other.
Is that OK with you?

I don't really see how bringing players into your team is relevant to what I said. I'm saying that if someone scores 50 in DT and 100 in SC, don't complain about how they managed to get such a high SC score. Similarly, if they get 100 in DT, and only 50 in SC, don't complain about how they were "robbed" and should've scored much more.
Definitely just a misunderstanding, lads. See where you're both coming from. Tone is hard to detect so I'm just stepping in as a third party to make sure we don't get feisty :)
Was probably directed more towards the Ward discussion than my Lennon comment.
I was just about to leave the house, so was probably misreading it.
Did anybody actually think the Giants could get up in this one?

36% of the 25 that voted, apparently, as well as some of my stupider friends in tipping comps.
I didn't think they would win but I was really hoping for it, tipped Richmond though. Plus I still haven't voted in the poll, haha.
