Blake Acres?
$214k on AFL Fantasy and $122,800 in RDT (My proper team), he was picked up by St Kilda with pick 19, Saints are clearly playing the kids this year and I would imagine he is not going to set the world on fire, but job security would not be too high of a risk?
I have done abit of research on this kid, based on St Kilda fans opinions on various Saints websites, they think very highly of him, can tackle and win his own ball - just has to work on his possession efficiency (lucky its not SC!). Last week he was Saints leading points getter at HT, 1 point ahead of Montagna of all people! Also on the Saints official website he was listed as their second best player at HT.

He only picked up a kick in the second half because he ran out of legs which first year players do! However he is named on the HB flank, so in their starting 18 for the weekend, providing he has a decent game the bye will come at a good time (not team structure wise) but to give the kid a rest to tackle on the rest of the year and hopefully make us 180k+!?
Whats everyone's thoughts and opinions?

Normally there is a thread dedicated to each rookie (Like there is for Charlie Cameron) and normally people discuss their opinion on that particular rookie. Unless I missed the thread I could not find one dedicated to Blake Acres. So I just wanted to hear peoples opinion, as I am seriously considering him.
I'd get him in RDT for sure.

Got him for josh Kelly in rdt, good pick up there I reckon moreso than in af
A bit expensive in AF but if I have any dead weight in the midfield next week then I will consider side-swapping them for Blacres.
I really rate the kid as well, huge potential.

I got him in SC and RDT this week. Was too pricey for AF
good pick up for RDT and SC but I only play AF; at $214K I'm passing on him.
Well-stocked for cash at the moment with Aylett and Cameron coming in the last two weeks; Lennon to come next week with Claye Beams, Bock and Honeychurch not far away either. Acres probably isn't necessary at the moment
A ruck rookie would be bloody handy though! I've got Currie and Thurlow rotting on the bench ::)
I didn't have any problem paying for Acres in AF. Only priced at 40 odd.
