Was good last week and tonight, but for me he just isn't good enough for 1 of my 8 mid spots

I feel he is just not consistent enough yet to take a punt on.
He can still pull some stinkers out

If you want the overall you have to try and get the midfielders that will finish in the top 10. If you truly believe he is a top 10 Midfielder then get him! But for me i'd much rather look at Griffo/Swanny/Watson. I could be wrong, but if you pulls it out it'll be a great end of the year POD

I'm getting Watson for Dunny this week but was considering getting Hannebery for Polec also

Why get rid of Polec? Isn't his BE still in the negatives? He's scoring 90s and 100s. Im going to hold him until he peaks. But the Dunstan to Watson trade is good. I'll probably be doing it this week too...

Yeah it's not a matter of wanting to trade Polec just a matter of wanting to get in Hannerbery

I have 326k in the bank but think ill just do a downgrade and get Watson with my trades

Ahhh okay. Well if you think that Hanners is a top 10 midfielder i'd get him. 1 Less upgrade you have to worry about and he has a good bye (For most people). Another prem will drop ( Hoping its Stevie J or Selwood after their bye), then use Polec to get one of them.

Actually getting 8 of the top 10 is probably a bit of a stretch for anyone... Probably top 15 if they drop enough or are cheap enough. Now in saying that, i've got an idea for another player... Sitting on 110+ a game and only 500k. Only downside...shower team

Possible haha. Plenty you can look at really... Hanners is probably a handy POD. Not many will have him in there finishing side. And he's pretty cheap for what he can do... Only inconsistency which stuffs him up.

Only concern with Hanners is he has never averaged more than 95. I know he will be a star but he is still so inconsistent

I will certainly look at him. Had a planned trade to get in Murph for Dunston but the 150 yesterday means i doubt i could afford him so will look at other options. Players like Griffen/Ward/Hannerbery could be great POD's! One that stands out to me is Ward;

131, 115, 129, 48 (Against his old club and always gets looked at extremely closely), 92 (31% TOG!!!!!!!) and 108. After this week he will be under 500k! (480kish!) Is it just me who think thats looks really juicy...? Ive watched him a few times and looks really impressive, if i cant afford Murphy i think i will jump on Ward/Hanners and keep the extra handy cash, as IMO Ward could go close to 110.

yeah he would be M8, mids would look like

Pendles, Rocky, Beams, Libba, Watson, Jelwood, Ablett, Hannebery

i still need to get in Ablett was hoping i could pick him up for like 600k after round 8 not sure i can justify paying 800k for him

Will be considering Ward for sure. Very underrated but is he going to be avging 110+? at under 500k he has to be considered..

IMO he is Watson's best replacement, will outscore your Johnson's, Barlow's, Sloane's etc for the rest of the season.

No he won't, he'd have to average 110+ for the rest of the season which I cannot see him doing, although I do admit he has been very good the last 6 weeks or so

Considering he's averaged 124 over the last 7 weeks, I'd say 110's pretty doable.

Since okeefe and Mitchell have been given the arse, hanners and jpk have killed it..never really rated hanners as he was too inconsistent..how wrong was I? He has to be considered..if he's getting tagged it's not showing..

He hasn't really been getting tagged apart from 3/4 of the Hawks game (Langford)

Yeah and he scored 159 in that game. He has been tagged at different times this season but it hasnt slowed him at all. GUN!

Its not a coincidence that since the Swans started their hotstreak he's only scored under 100 once (97).

If Swans keep winning, he can easily post a good 110-115 average for the remainder of the season

I feel like JPK will be first tagged again.

Seriously looking at Hanners for an SC pod!
