Why is everyone trading these guys out.
Ellis has a break even of 2 and Tyson 38 if not mistaken. There's still more cash to make and Ellis will be back next week.
Someone please explain?
That's not his BE, Ellis's last score was 2 He got injured early in the first quarter last week his BE is 101
Tyson's BE is 98
It is a case of moving in on rookies on the Bubble ie rookies who will rise in price and then have to work out which Rookies have nearly maxed out. The name of the game is to quickly complete your team so to maximise cash gain is the aim of most coaches at the moment so they only use one trade to upgrade.
Eg downgrades this week will be netting most coaches 3/400k for upgardes.
That's weird. Why doesn't the fan footy page site have the BE updated?
Subject title should be : Ellis\Tyson\Dunstan mayhem.. throw Matt Thomas in there too

They won't come anywhere near their BEs. Thus they'll lose coaches money. Given they were cash cows, they're essentially as fat as they're going to get before the become emaciated and suck our hard-earned funds away. It therefore follows that we take the money and run - whereby "run" becomes the act of upgrading them.

It usually takes a week for the FF BEs to update, currently has the post round 4 BEs I think
Ellis being injured gives you the luxury of not having to worry about him for a while at least. Too many high BEs to deal with this round :)

These are the correct BE`s
Tyson will score very close to his breakeven this week and may even make it. You heard it here first.

I personally don't care but he was in the centre the most of any Lion not named Jack Redden last week
Once that "2" rolls out of Ellis' 3-week rolling average, he will make that money back and then some.

I'm going the other way, thinking that Saints V Brisbane is an easier game and that a BE of 87 is better than Melb V Swans with Tyson BE 98

Thought about keeping both, but the cash generation and opportunities of upgrading the team and bringing in premiums is too good
I will keep Tyson until his bye. I think Steven returning isn't helping Dunstan's scoring too, so I am content with my decision of sticking with Dom and parting with Luke :)

Really? Assuming he has one week off this week then back, he'll play round 7 and 8, price will drop, week off round 9, play round 10 and maybe start to resurrect his price, but prior to the 2 he had two 60s and two 90s, so lets say he averages 75. You'd be waiting until round ~13 to get back to where he is now, then start making more after that - ignoring the fact that he may well break down again. He only dropped 4k from getting a 2, thanks Ellis you've donw well, you're outta here...

yeah, but don't forget Armatage is out injured
Of course - there is no right or wrong decision, we just got with our gut
Dunstan has already made nearly 190k and Tyson only 115k, that's the main reason I am punting Dunstan as he has done his job
ellis is gone, i waited for another look at lloyd before i dropped caddy. so was an easy choice to go ellis to JPK

If I had to choose one I would definitely punt Dunstan over Tyson. For the reason you mentioned and also because he is a first year player so is more likely to hit a wall.

Yeah I was set to keep Dunstan and trade Tyson+Ellis.
But apart from this round I think Tyson will outscore Dunstan. UNLESS SOMEONE CAN CONVINCE ME HE HAS HIT THE WALL? He started off scoring 100s in a side getting smashed. So did Dunstan but there was no Joey or Lenny or Steven.
My head is saying Tyson but my heart is saying Dunstan.
Think wet weather Wellington will suit Dunstans demanding and contested game style
But I do think Tyson has had more reasoning behind his low scores (tagged by Carrots, then subbed) while Dunstan has just been dieing in the ass. It doesn't really matter as I plan to trade all of Matt Thomas, Ellis, Dunstan and Tyson out over the next two weeks too somehow get back up in the rankings

I've been thinking of trading Tyson due to higher BE, but this thread has me thinking. Dunstan scores probably impacted with their midfielders returning, and Tyson did get tagged vs blues and subbed vs suns (mistake according to Roos).
I was going to upgrade whoever survived this week next week so I guess it doesn't matter really

Robbo is in a similar mould to Reddan. The match committee made a statement this week in dropping Moloney so I would expect Robbo to maintain intensity as he would want to retain position in the side. Will only be in my side probably to Brisbanes bye as beams will also be back around that time.

Me too, have traded Ellis for Lloyd and got rid of Clurey for Hibberd.
All three have good bye rounds.
Gotta play the long game guys.
Punt Matt Thomas this week as I assume most will have lots of premiums in the round 8 bye.
Keep other three until bye rounds.

Gotta cash some chips in sooner or later! I don't have M.Thomas, and I like Polec, Dunstan and Tyson, so Ellis it is!
