Who will win?

Option 3: Draw

Hawks had their first defeat and will be wanting to make a statement against the Tigers who have been a little disappointing this year. Will the Tigers rise to the occasion?
Richmonds season is on the line over the next 2 weeks. Must win one against either Hawthorn or Geelong which is going to be a task. Rance and Deledio possible inclusions and we are desperate to get both of them back.
Have smashed the Hawks the past 2 times against the odds however I still think it would take a miracle to happen again.
Hawthorn by 30
Cant see the Hawks losing two in a row
Good teams bounce back from a loss. Can't see Hawks losing this one
Tigers always seem to play their very best against the Hawks, but I can't see them getting too close without Lids

My thoughts exactly.
We're certainly a chance to cause an upset, but realistically the Hawks are 10x better than us.
I'm hoping Lids and Rance are back, while Lennon and McDomuts have been good in the VFL.
I reckon the Hawks will bounce back strongly. Hawks by 72.
Biased and delusional Tigers fan here. :P
Tiges by 6. ;)
Hawks
that is all
We do have a good record against the Hawks recently but our recent form has me worried we're in for a long day.
Hopefully the Tiges can at least be competitive :P

Not really, Jack kicking 4-8 goals and Richmond still losing was several years ago when the rest of Richmond were a bottom 2 side.
Now when Jack gets up to kick a bag, Richmond are always in a strong position.
In the last 3-4 years of head to head between these two has been separated by bags from Jack, Franklin and Rioli

Hawks don't need a player or players to kick bags they all contribute
Yeah I'm a bit off-put trying to tip Richmond this time because they look worse than previous years (form-wise)
Its strange because the last two games weren't even close, does this mean that this one is going to be really close or just a shock blowout either way.
Lock in the Hawthorn mate!!

Like, if I was to be realistic... I genuinely believe - no word of a lie, that we could keep it close...
IF we had a full strength side, which we unfortunately do not. We're missing Lids and Ivvy and Ty is out of form (if he was in good form, he'd be best 22).
But yeah, I feel like that with our outs and also due to our form, the chances of us actually winning are rather slim. However, I guess as mentioned, the fact that we have won the last two rather comfortably does make it somewhat interesting.
Hmmmm hard to get a line on their form, wins against Brissy and Carlton, losses against Gold Coast, Bulldogs and Magpies. Hardwick says he'll have some tricks for them and thinks they can win, so I might go with them thanks "Eddie", yep, lock in the Hawks thanks ED.

Really hope Hallahan has a big game today. Would be the perfect downgrade option if he can keep his spot in the Hawks side.
Very happy Nippa, Bikkies and Hallahan avoided the vests. :D
Hallahan come on mate. Earn your spot for the next month at least please.:)
I'm not so sure I want Hallahan to do well
I already have enough mid rookies and need to be doing upgrades now, not downgrades
I need one more downgrade, haha.
McDonough sub as expected... Yay Nathan Gordon! :D
Dusty's got some new artwork :o
Oh ffs, could some of my players touch it please?

Roughy spudding it up for the second consecutive week
Houli got about 40 points that quarter :)
Look, I'll be honest. We need a scalp and recent history says we can do this.
We're not completely out of it, and the Hawks probably could have put us away by now. I'm not saying we'll win it from here, but if we play like we have so far, I reckon we can, at the very least, keep this close.
Al Paton @al_superfooty 57s
Dustin Martin in defense for 2nd half. Looks like he's playing on Breust. #AFLTigersHawks #supercoach

I reckon Lloyd was very stiff to be subbed so early, 10 touches in a half was way more than most of his team mates. Dimma needs to give the kids a clean run at it, no point chopping and changing all the time.
IMO Jackson or Petterd should have been subbed.
Very disappointing game. I particularly hate when the stupid fans in the crowd yell "kick it" every single time we touch the ball. Contrary to their uneducated opinions, bombing it blindly to a contest and turning it over is not a better option than trying to keep possession while creating options. And, even if we continue to screw up the latter, at least we're playing the right way so that, when we do get the skills down pat, we'll be a better side for it.
Also very disappointed by so many "fans" leaving so early. I'm happy to say that I've never left a Richmond game early and don't plan to.

Yeah I can understand where you're coming from but it's his duty to make sure no high contact is made or he's responsible for the concussion or injury from what the MRP has said so far this year.
High contact with a raised elbow wasn't a good look though.

"Contact between Alexis Georgiou and Lance Franklin was assessed. After viewing all the available footage, and receiving a medical report from the Sydney Football Club, it was the view of the panel that the force used in the contact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken."
Buddy's acting was pretty good.

Gibson will be in a bit of trouble
Piss weak, deserves a break.
Very average call! Was going the spoil!
Yeah I can understand where you're coming from but it's his duty to make sure no high contact is made or he's responsible for the concussion or injury from what the MRP has said so far this year.
High contact with a raised elbow wasn't a good look though.
Not saying he wont get a week or two for it, just saying it wasnt piss weak on gibbos behalf ;)
Ah fair enough :P
Yeah I dunno man like if it was a genuine spoiling attempt & he got some of the ball I probably would've been fine with it but he only got the man & hit him hard and high... Will be interesting to see what the MRP think. :-X
They should have suspended Buddy for going down...weak cow.

Yeah, I agree.
At least give him an Oscar.
Here's the incident for anyone wondering :P

From the video, I would say unintentional but reckless, high contact. Wait for medical report but probably 2-3 weeks with 1-2 for an early guilty plea.

He punched Conca's head not the ball. Head high contact, he's goneski.
So did Walker on Westhoff in Rd.1 and he was cleared. There was another similar one which I can't remember the players involved at the moment.
Not sure how you can call a mis-timed spoil piss-weak ???
All I needed was 116 out of Mitchell for a league win, was looking good for it with 140DT but only got 96SC. Didnt see the game was he really that bad?

DE killed both his and Cotchin's scores. Was very unlike Mitchell actually

For this reason Mitchell has always been better for AF/DT than SC, but the disparity is not usually that bad :o

Good result.
Split second late, glancing blow off the scone onto the ball.
Only person who should get a spell is the DH ump who reported him but forgot the 50! ::)
