Hmmmm
May be forced to make a trade now..
If confirmed, I wont trade him, solid bench cover in Langdon & Langford
My VC atm. Already have Clurey dropped and Webster out so I will do Clurey to Georgiou if confirmed to avoid a doughnut.
Have Langford or LMac as cover.. Annoying though.. Feels like this season could be a disaster already!
no one in their right mind will be trading mitchell if he is out ... but until it is official i say he is playing
LMAC as cover, if he is dropped may have to go Clurey> Georgiou this week which is not ideal.
Think I might bring in Georgiou this week too, I was keen to get a look at KK but I think I'll pass and look at bringing Matt Thomas into the midfield. Looking at 3 corrective trades but am pretty happy with the players I'll be bringing in.
God I hope he plays. I don't want to put Mcdonald in as it looks like he might start as the sub.
No not to trade Mitchell out, but trade my rookies.
Currently have Webster and Clurey out and now Mitchell maybe.. Have LMac and Langdon but may need one more.
Clurey - Langford?

If you have a donut definitely.
Sam Mitchell reportedly is now a confirmed late withdrawal after failing a fitness test according to breaking news on 1116 SEN.
Balls
Well I will have a donut if Mitchell is a late out, so may just do it in case. I'd hate to cop a donut in Round 2.
If ever there was reason to break the no trading rule now is the time. I have reasonable cover but will bring in Georgiou just in case another player goes down.
Although I have him dont mind him being a late out, I have none of the other missing backman so just means I have a choice between moving lmac or georgiou onto the field, so if other people have to trade or have a donut, good for me :)
It would be nice to actually know what is wrong with him just sore dose not cut it I would hate to find out next week he has a calf injury :-\

Great stuff isn't it.
R2 and already have $1.1 million on the bench with just two outs (Mitchell and Rocky) + Webster...add non playing rookies in Rucks and it is the leanest cover I can ever remember having in SC for R2. I'm glad Michie and JKH made the bench of 4 or would've been worse. LMac on bench as E in mids ...fwds okay with Impey and JKH on the pine and that's it. Bit of a joke really.
Seven news stated that he may be out for more than a week and may be issues that Hawthorn is not reporting.
Maybe a Mitchell trade is a point of difference to everyone that is holding him on the pine?

can't act until ya hear it from the club, all speculation till then
If I recall, Mitchell doesn't score too highly against Essendon on average? Maybe having to swap him for Langdon/Langford/Lmac won't cost you as many points as it seems. Maybe that's just wishful thinking :P

Yup, maybe, but I like your thinking. ;D
LMac or Georgiou on the field??
Georgio named on the ground, no brainer
If Mitchell is out again next week and the it looks like he will miss a couple of more, watch how Swallow plays this week and he is the guy to trade to

Good plan. Reducing my 4 hawk backline to 3 couldn't hurt

Don't mean squat with respect to whether or not he's the sub. Subs have been named from the ground before... I guess I have the chance to wait and see in SC (but not in DT :()

That said, Lmac is still more likely to be the starting sub than Georgiou I would have thought.

That's what I'm thinking right now but I definitely don't feel comfortable having to lock in either.
Bugger, Langford was my E, now I have Mitchell and Clurey on the pine, no cover for the rest of the weekend!
In the last 2 hours I've seen Mitchell being out from soreness , sore calf , and now on TV they just said calf injury just remember last year the Hawks and Buddy out for one and ended up 5 or 6 :(
>:(
Sometimes you just have to pull the trade trigger. I had Webster, L McDonald and Laidler as D6-8 so traded out Webster and brought in another prem. Didn't want to do it but at least I don't really lose anything. Cheers all. ::)

Clarkson said he got a knock to the calf last weekend, he trained fully on Tuesday but pulled up sore
Still not sure what to make of it
