Question:
Who will win?
Option 1: Essendon
votes: 9
Option 2: Hawthorn
votes: 25
Option 3: Draw
votes: 3
The Hawks showed last week why they're a top team while Essendon dismissed doubters with a big win over finals fancies, North Melbourne. No love lost between these two rivals; will we have a thriller or will one team dominate the other?
i hope it's closer then people expect
This should be an absolute ripper. Bombers just keep proving people wrong
Think this one will go down to the wire. Watson to have another amazing game.
Hawthorn by 9 points.
Hope my bombers win however Hawthorn have a lot of improvement in them after round one and expect them to be fired up for this one. Bombers by 6 points
Bombers by 13
One of many cracker games set to take place this round.
I reckon the Hawks might just be too good on the night and will get up by 18.
Hawks by 22, with at least 3 fights. AT LEAST 3 FIGHTS.
Hawks in a close one.
Jobe will be carrying my VC

Hawthorn always smash Essendon. I think Hawks by 45
Will be an absolute cracker of a game! Think the Hawks will get up but the Bombers were impressive last week. Jobe :-*.
Watson won't score as well as he did last week but will still get 130.
Gunston will kick 4!
Jay Clark @ClarkyHeraldSun 5m
Big doubts on Sam Mitchell. Could be late out against Bombers tonight.

big difference we normally face them later in the season during our fade outs we have not played them early in the season since 2010
I don't think the Bombers will get smashed. Hawks are still missing quite a few players and Essendon look to be a dangerous side. I still think the Hawks will win, but it won't be a huge margin.
BREAKING
Sam Mitchell reportedly is now a confirmed late withdrawal after failing a fitness test according to breaking news on 1116 SEN.

Yeah I'll wait for official teams and subs first thanks :P
Hawthorn FC @HawthornFC 15s
FINAL TEAM: Sam Mitchell is OUT. He's been replaced by Angus Litherland who'll make his @AFL debut. @jsimpkin32 the sub #ALWAYS #gohawks
Will be good to get a look at Litherland.
SuperFooty (AFL) @superfooty 1m
SUBSTITUTES: Jon Simpkin (Hawks), Zach Merrett (Dons). Bombers unchanged. Hawks replace Mitchell with Litherland. #AFLBombersHawks
Zach Merrett is like an excitable puppy, just let him run free dammit!

Almost certain that it was confirmed somewhere official that price changes will start after this week for every player that plays, regardless of whether or not it's their first game.

Hawks looks amazing with so many out.
Sizing up L.Shiels as a week 3 possibility, and he's not very convincing
Of course Hodge is bleeding while giving the boys a speech haha
QuotePersonally I think umpire Simon Meredith is a Hawks fan, and is not leaving his allegiance in the locker room when he takes the field.
He made all those bad calls at crucial moments in last year's Grand Final, and he's doing it again now.
I'm going to write an email to the AFL to alert them of this issue.
not my words guis

Nah, Simpkin would go.
Hibberd too quiet for my liking. Surprised Suckling's DT isn't higher. It looked like he was doing better than he actually is. Same goes for McEvoy who I reckon has been robbed of a few hitouts.

Gleeson doing well :D

Ambrose!
good game now
Not sure how Obrien gets a game over anyone in our squad.
