Pick 10, ouch, everyone else leave pendles for me!

It's actually a tough choice between Ablett & Pendles, particularly given our squads will be carried forward into future seasons. One might argue that Pendles has a few more years up his sleeve.

Pick 10 isn't as bad as it seems. I nearly won a CB draft comp last year from pick ten. 2 picks in the top 11, i'd even swap with ya if i wasn't pick 3 :P

Having consecutive picks each round does have its advatages, you can pick a package deal and not worry bout who the next person is picking. Still rather pick one, but no captains in this league makes pick 1 and 2 not as important

Yeah i think no captains makes it fairer. Makes you use the scoring talent of your overall team.

Let's see if Victorious Secret can do some damage over the years with pick 9 in the draft

Well that was different from my other draft. I flowered up when i had a brain fade and picked hale over masten :o I mean WTF you Idiot. That threw me right out. haha. A bit of work to be done but should be able to compete on any given day.

Hope the rest of ya faired better. Teams Bull Dust and Ours is the fury seem strong

My internet dropped out with three picks to go, typical. lol

Have to get some defenders. rucks and forwards for the bench.

That went pretty well overall I'd say, picked up Rocky, that was the plan from pick 7. Couple of tweaks with waivers/free agency and should be good to go.
Good luck for the year boys should be a good one, I like this field set up plus prefer no captains so it won't be a 2-3 horse race.

Haha, the crow variety but made up for it with the 2 young KPF's. My def should be good .Your team looks very same same as my other draft team. Nice pick ups in cowboy neale, crouch, masten, ziebell. Should all be in for good years.

I'm just short a gun mid which i might be able to trade for if a couple of my other picks fire. We have the new option this year to trade up to 5 players for 1 if required. (dont know how that works yet). But yeah, i agree, everyone has a price  :)

Just realised we have a waiver period so I'm not lumped with spuds like Cross (thanks to the auto pick). I've just put in my request so approval pending for Cross to Longer.

There will be some others coming through soon.

Everyone on the waiver list should be free agents Wednesday morning, so you won't need to go through the waiver period.

Of course there isn't that much left in the pool.. feel free to peruse Hodge beats Judd and let me know of players that you might be interested in trading for ;)

it's quite ironic that you have the player I queued up before the internet crashed, Nick Vlastuin is the guy I'm very interested in. Check out my list and tell me who takes your fancy.

I'm scratching around for forwards myself, I have way too many mids, willing to trade Hill & Rich for the right player.

I have a couple spare but they will probably be worth more at the end of the year, i hope. I also have Hurley that will be departing the fwd line next season and atm they are back-ups if my dpp's have to move out of the fwd line. Happy hunting though. :)

I need to unearth another gun mid from somewhere to take on the destroyers. Strong side Dmac, even if you do need another fwd.

I think Brand coach of Dilligaf missed the draft. Had 2nd pick and has ten mids - 2 injured and 2 injured fwds and backs. We wont be the only ones juggling our teams at the start of the season. Hope he logs on soon, takes his SC seriously too as far as i know.I will send him another pm but other than that i dont know how to contact him?

At least i know where all the mids went :P

Cheers aus, waiting on t.walker to get back in a few weeks to give me a final good fwd, elliot will have to do for now. So many excess mids, so thin at the ends of yhe fwds and def. And god help if a rucks go down, someone will pay a premium to get a new one if they do.

Heres hoping, Picked up McIntosh this morning. So if anybody wants or needs a spare ruck he's up for trade.
Looking at you Captain America, anyone one of your spare healthy mids will do :)

Went searching for him this morning as I'm cooling on Longer. Need a mid? I have Hill & Rich up for sale.

I was hoping more a (95) type :D. Captain america has them in spades on his bench and has Maric in his ruck with no back up. That's why i gambled on McIntosh. His value could snare me that good mid I"m after. I am open to all offers though ;)

Lenny Hayes perhaps?

Yeah I think Coyote and I are in the same boat. I'm willing to swap out a forward for a mid, but I'm after something that helps my team - someone from the first 4 rounds of selections. For the right trade Chappy, Darling or Henderson are on the table - or if you are after a defender there is Enright or Lumumba available. There's plenty of ok mids available as free agents
Title: Re: FF WARRIORS (SC Draft Keeper league)

Is it just me or is it not possible this year to filter or even sort free agents by position??

All my mids are available with the exception of Pendles, Deledio, Bennell & Hannebury. That effectively leaves Hayes, Zaharakis, Hill, Rich & Coniglio as trade bait.

Reckon Zaharakis will push 95 this year, but that's another story. There's still some talent left over in the free agent pool so not the end of the world. Hill or Rich might have to be the sacrificial lambs.

Would be happy to straight swap for roughy to sit alongside cloke in my team. No one else for a straight swap.

Also like Prestia though.

Could do a 2 player swap, Mundy and Heppel/Stanley/Elliot/Atley for Prestia and  Enright/Lumumba/Chappy/Dixon/Roughie

Destroyed by the destroyers haha, nice game Dmac.
Is everybody playing, No Response from Dango"Captain America"
Surely someone must need a ruck. I still have Mcintosh up for grabs for a good mid.

OK, now things are getting completely out of hand. Seems I have just about every injured player in the league - Deledio, Bennell, Leuenberger, Hurn, Rance, Dahlhaus & Rich, and to add salt into the wounds Grundy & Vickery get subbed out.

Is it really only round 4?

You could  trade them in for Toovey, Relto  Roberts and a packet if Smiths chips?

Picking up West from the free agents to cover Ryder looking even better now Luey is out for a bit.

Make me a trade offer if you want some players for cover.

You want Leuey? In all seriousness, I think I'll just ride my luck with those left in the pool, Longer to come in next week, or even Sinclair.

As for trading, I really don't have anything to trade, I've got holes on every line so it won't make any difference.

No thanks, already have mummy and ryder nit playing in the rucks myself. But they are too good to trade so might need to find a 4th ruck next week!

What's the deal with long term injuries? If I put in a waiver to replace Leuenberger, can I claim him back in 12 weeks?

Think it will be first in, but not certain. Can be a good idea to pick guys like that up the week before you expect them back.

I'm pretty stuffed at the moment, I have Vickery, Bennell, Deledio, Hurn, Leuenberger & Rance on the sidelines. If it's open slather on my premos then I think I'll just cop some donuts.
