SENIOR defender Jackson Trengove will miss at least four weeks of full training after jarring his knee in a training exercise on Tuesday.

Despite initial fears the damage was more serious, the Power's defensive assistant coach Matthew Nicks confirmed to portadelaidefc.com.au Trengove had only suffered bruising to the bone.

"It did look quite bad when he jarred the knee, so frankly it's a relief that scans have shown he's only got bone bruising," Nicks said.

Have bad bruising  to the knee before and it's a pain to go through, feel for him.

Hopefully he comes back better from it, I know I did!

So he will be back for Round 1 am guessing;  so in terms of Fantasy footy it does not sound like a good idea to choose someone who is likely to be a substitute for  Jackson
