Thoughts on 1st team made for 2014 ?
Backs: McVeigh, Mitchell , Bartel, Suckling, K. Kolodjashnij. McDonald (J. Kolodjashnij, Fuller)
Centres: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Watson, Beams, Martin, Morabito, O'Rourke (Langdon, Honey-Church)
Rucks: Kruzer, Sandi (Derickx, Mitchell)
Forwards: Danger, Martin, Franklin, Clark, Fasolo, Kersten (Garlett, L.Taylor)
Cash: $14,500
not to much wrong with it at this stage
i wouldn't go near Clarke personally to injury prone
Fasolo is risky if he has a bad game any number of young guns could come in for him i'd rather Rohan at that price
you are going to need more cash t get your preferred midfield bench rookies
Tyson should be a lock
Backline is very solid, Mids are extremely strong, could probably afford to go one of GAJ, Pendles or Jelwood to Murphy or Thomas to free up some cash! the rucks are very injury prone which may be a problem with the lack of ruck rookies! I'd get Goldy or Minson in there just to add some stability. I'd stay away from Clark as kb said, I'd look to get pav in
Backs: Very solid wouldn't make any Changes here.
Mids: Would Probably downgrade Ablett to Murphy
Rucks: Both Ruckmen are injury prone just should do well
Fwds: Just need to hope Fasolo is in the Starting 22 otherwise you will need to look somewhere else people seem to be picking Rohan.
Your team is ok apart from your premiums having the same bye round may want to go with only one of Ablett or Pendlebury. 7/10
Yeah looks really good mate, my only doubt would probably be with Kreuzer. Possibly downgrade Bartel to a slightly cheaper defender, such as Waters, Birchall, Hanley and if cash allows, swap Kreuzer to Goldy or Minson

you guys fine with starting 2 rookies? ie would prefer a rookie and pendles v swallow and stevie j?
Also issue with byes in mids for R8 with 5 out of 8
Because of pricing this year we will be starting 2 rookies on at least one line possibly 2 to fit under cap if we want super premiums who will be consistent. So do not worry about that.
Your team is sound only issue I see your Rucks where both have had injuries. Kruezer has mised quite a few games over the last couple of seasons as well. Whilst he may be unique for you that is something to keep in mind.
Agree with suggestions made to be downgrade to get a Prem Ruck.

No problems - Still not an issue if 3 of your backline rookies are playing regularly even 4 if you can do it. Look at last year where some rookies came to prominence Goodes and Vlaustin spring to mind.
Thing is, no one seems to have any idea which rookies are actually going to get games. Hasn't seemed so hard the last couple of years. At the moment it's just guesswork. When it becomes clearer we will be able to decide on structure.
Think some of the reasoning on rookies this year is the huge price jump first rounders have had this year which is causing issues as to try and pick the right ones and not exceed salary cap,

absolutely ... if ya miss out on the best rookie early with either your starting team or before their price rise then your season for overall is pretty much doomed
