#44 Matthew Arnot
(http://www.richmondfc.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Richmond/Player%20Profiles/2013%20-%20Profiles/ARNOT%20Matthew.png)

Jroo says: Arnot is a fine fantasy prospect for the future, he racks up a lot of the ball and is great defensively, making lots of tackles. One thing Arnot has to work on though, is controlling his aggression, as he gave away 26 free kicks from only nine games, this year in the VFL, which hurts his fantasy scores. Arnot is on the fringe of the Tigers' side and an injury to one of the starting midfielders or good VFL form should see him break into the side.

Jroo says: Astbury won't getting a game in the side unless Grimes is out as they both play the same role, as the third tall defender. Being a key defender, Astbury will never be a big fantasy scorer, but towards the end of the year he showed some form that he can be a decent scorer.

#11 Jake Batchelor
(http://www.richmondfc.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Richmond/Player%20Profiles/2013%20-%20Profiles/BATCHELOR%20Jake.png)
Age: 21

Jroo says: After an impressive first two seasons, Batchelor went backwards in 2013, only playing nine games. He is a defender who can play tall or small, but he also provides some good defensive rebound for his side and takes plenty of marks, which could result in some decent scores. Watch him over the preseason to see where he stands at the club, but come round one, I don't think he'll be in the side.

#25 Troy Chaplin
(http://www.richmondfc.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Richmond/Player%20Profiles/2013%20-%20Profiles/CHAPLIN%20Troy.png)
Age: 27
Height/Weight: 195cm/99kg

Jroo says: Chaplin's average dropped considerably at his new club and I can't see it improving. The Tigers don't need Chaplin for his rebound from defence, as they'll leave it to Rance or Grimes, so Chaplin won't get much of the ball, especially as he's main objective is to shut down his opponent. He's much more suited to SuperCoach than AFL Fantasy, but I'd stay away in both competitions.

#30 Reece Conca
(http://www.richmondfc.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Richmond/Player%20Profiles/2013%20-%20Profiles/CONCA%20Reece.png)
Age: 21

Jroo says: Conca has again shown signs of improvement, but 2014 could be the year he breakouts and becomes one of the club's best midfielders. With Tuck gone, Conca will replace him as an inside midfielder, so I'd expect his average to improve again, but he is awkwardly priced.

#9 Trent Cotchin

Age: 23

Jroo says: Cotchin was one of the most talked about players coming into 2013, but he didn't quite live up to expectations, as the new club captain's average dropped in both fantasy competitions. I believe the knee injury he suffered in round 5 against Fremantle, may have affected him and in 2014 I'm expecting him to bounce back. He is a star and underpriced, so he's one to watch.

Age: 22

Jroo says: Dea isn't a bad scorer, but he has found it difficult, breaking into this Tiger's line-up. He may be defensive player, but he can find the footy. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a breakout year, he's pretty underrated and could be in our best 22, at the end of the year. He's not expensive and if he gets game he may bea good POD.

#3 Brett Deledio
(http://www.richmondfc.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Richmond/Player%20Profiles/2013%20-%20Profiles/DELEDIO%20Brett.png)
Age: 26
Height/Weight: 188cm/88kg
Fantasy Status: Gun
Position: Midfield

2013 Average
SC:

DT: 95.0

Jroo says: Deledio was somewhat disappointing in 2013, struggling with the tag. This resulted in Deledio's average dropping by 13 points. But, Deledio should bounce back in 2014, as he continues to develop and learn to deal with the tag. No doubt he's a fantasy star, as you can see by his scores last year. He is very durable, only missing four games since making his debut and he kicks more than he handballs, meaning he will post some big scores. Normally Deledio is a consistent scorer, but this year he had some massive games and some disappointing games. But next year I think he can get back to his consistent best and he is slightly under priced, so he's not a bad option.

Jroo says: Edwards broke his way into the team in round 10, but really started to impress towards the end of the year. He only played eight games this season, but posted some impressive fantasy scores towards the end of the year. He won't come cheap though and he's never been a great fantasy scorer. He's also on the fringe of Tigers' line-up, so picking him in your side would be very risky.

#10 Shane Edwards

Age: 25

Jroo says: Edwards had a bit of a down year in 2013, but it wouldn't be beyond him to bounce back in 2014. He is much more suited to Supercoach and you could just about cross him off your list in AFL Fantasy. Edwards won't be one of the top forwards and won't make a lot of cash, so it's probably not worth starting him.

#5 Brandon Ellis
(http://www.richmondfc.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Richmond/Player%20Profiles/2013%20-%20Profiles/ELLIS%20Brandon.png)
Age: 20
Height/Weight: 181cm/81kg

Jroo says: Ellis had a slow start to the year, being subbed off in round one after a disappointing game, which resulted in him starting as the sub for the next three games. But after this he was finally given a chance to play a full game and flourished. Ellis really stood up in 2013, taking his game to the next level in what was only his second year of senior football. Ellis went on to average 99 when you take out his five sub affected games, which is quite impressive for a youngster. In 2014 Ellis won't be cheap anymore and I don't think he'll be such a good buy as a midfielder only. Teams will start to tag him as his run and carry is vital to Richmond and when he was tagged this year he struggled with the attention. Ellis will be a fantasy star in the future, but I think 2014 will be a difficult year for him.

Jroo says: Elton still has plenty of development before he becomes a regular in the Tigers' line-up. Elton's scores weren't too impressive in the VFL this year and even if he is given a senior opportunity this year, I wouldn't be expecting too much from him. Although he has the potential to become a good player in the future.

Jroo says: Foley had a successful comeback from an achilles injury, but didn't score too well in fantasy. He is no longer a lock in the club's best 22, as shown by his omission from the elimination final this year. He started as the sub on three occasions and I think he may be used in that role again next year.

Jroo says: Gordon is a mature age rookie, who should be given senior opportunity in 2013. The former Sydney Swan impressed in the SANFL this year, proving to the Tigers he deserves a second chance. He averaged 76 DT points which shows he can be a good scorer and when given his opportunity, he could be a useful cash cow.

Jroo says: There's no doubt that Griffiths does have some talent, but firstly Richmond need to find which end of the ground he belongs at. He was originally a forward, but then moved back, but I think he's best football will be played up forward. He's a booming kick and a good mark and if he's played up forward he should produce better fantasy scores. The inclusion of Hampson will hurt his chances at getting games though. He's cheap in AFL Fantasy, but he probably won't be able to string enough games to make much cash and hence won't be a good cash cow.

The outside midfielder has played a lot off a wing, but he'll now have to fight for a spot in the Tigers' line-up next year after the emergence of Brandon Ellis and other youngsters. He's definitely a risky pick, as I can't see him improving on his 2013 average.

Grimes is an attacking defender and the Tigers' rate him very highly. If fit, Grimes will play every game and he certainly isn't expensive. Hampson is actually a very good ruckman and I think he'll play a lot of games next year, as he can also play up forward to great effect. He has shown in the VFL he can be a good scorer averaging 71.1 DT points or 83.6 when you take out his one injury affected game. A new club may bring out the best in Hampson, he's not too pricey and I'm sure there will be lots of coaches who will take a punt on him.

Helbig is cheap, so if he can break into the Tigers' line-up he wouldn't be such a bad choice, but I doubt he will play many games in the AFL, this year.

The inclusion of Hamspon will help Maric share the workload, which may mean that Hampson may steal some points of Maric, but at least Maric will be able to keep fit and will be able to play more games. He will also rest up forward and he has shown that he can cause problems for the opposition as he can kick a goal or two, which will boost his SuperCoach scores. I feel Maric is a risk, due to his injury concerns, but if he can get back to his 2012 form, he'll be a steal at that price, in both competitions.

Jroo says: Martin keeps his F/M status, meaning he should be one of your first picked players in SuperCoach or AFL Fantasy. A midfielder who occasionally rests up forward and kicks goals are very valuable and we are yet to see the best of Martin who still has areas to improve on. After burning many coaches in 2012, Martin improved in 2013, as he worked on his tank, which helped him run out second halves better and he will continue to work on this. He had 55 shots at goal this year, which shows he knows where the goals are and if he improves his accuracy his scores will only get better. In a midfield of Cotchin and Deledio, Martin won't get that much attention, but when he does he generally doesn't handle it well. For me, Martin is a lock, as many gun forwards have lost forward status and even though Martin is one of the most expensive forwards he should be one of the top forwards at the end of the year, so he's worth the hefty price tag.

He has shown he can be a good fantasy player as well and he seems to have locked a spot down back, in the club'h best 22. He still has areas to improve on such as his kicking, but he already has plenty of skills to become a good player. I see him slightly increasing his average from last year.

Jroo says: Rance may be a key defender, but he is still able to score well in fantasy, but he's more suited to SuperCoach. Rance will only get better next year and he's still fairly young. The inclusion of Chaplin helped him this year and will continue to assist him in the future. Rance would make a good POD and if he can close the gap between his good games and bad games and become more consistent, then he wouldn't be a bad choice as he can certainly find the football for a key defender.

Jroo says: The two-time Coleman medallist was somewhat disappointing in 2013, but the star forward has impressed in the preseason and Hardwick has said that Riewoldt will push up the ground in 2014, which should boost his fantasy scores. Riewoldt isn't overly expensive and as he should improve his fantasy output, so he may be worth taking a punt on.

Jroo says: Vickery started the year on fire, but soon dropped away in form. I think Vickery will again improve in fantasy land, as he continues to develop. He will be used mostly up forward as the inclusion of Hampson will allow Vickery to spend more time up forward, as he won't have to ruck. We've seen in glimpses, what Vickery is capable of, so he's someone to watch.

Jroo says: The youngster was very impressive in only his first year of senior football, playing 18 AFL games (including finals). He impressed with some of his fantasy scores too, averaging 75 in SC and 69 in DT, meaning he's someone to watch in the future. I don't think he'll suffer from the 'second-year blues' and he wouldn't be a bad buy as a defender. He'll be a gun fantasy player in the future, too.

Rookie list
1. Todd Banfield
2. Ben Darrou
3. Anthony Miles
4. Orren Stephenson
5. Matthew Thomas
6. Cadeyn Williams

There are two spots available on the senior list, so two of these guys will be upgraded by round one.

Jroo says: Banfield was thrown a lifeline in the rookie draft by Richmond and he should get games next year. Banfield has never been a big fantasy scorer in the past and I wouldn't expect him to score overly well at Richmond, but he's cheap and you could pick him as a cash cow, so watch him over the preseason and see if he gets elevated to the senior list.

Jroo says: The youngster remains on the Tigers' rookie list for another season, after impressing in the VFL with his defensive work. Because he's a key defender, he won't be a big scorer and I wouldn't expect him to get any games next year and even if he does, I don't think he'll make a lot of cash, meaning he won't be a great rookie choice.

Jroo says: Miles is a ball magnet, as shown by his NEAFL form, racking up heaps of possessions and posting some impressive fantasy scores. He should get opportunities next year at his new club and I wouldn't be surprised to see him line up in round one. He isn't expensive and he's a smokie to watch out for, especially in AFL Fantasy.

Jroo says: The tough inside midfielder capped of a brilliant year in the SANFL, winning the Magarey Medal, as the best player in the competition for 2013. He'll get some game time for the Tigers' next year and I'm sure Hardwick will be a fan of the way he attacks the ball. But he's awkwardly priced though and he won't have great JS, so I'm not sure he'll be a great buy, but he should be a handy depth player for the Tigers.
