Known for his bullocking runs and team-lifting acts of desperation, the North Melbourne vice-captain has shed six kilograms since Round 23.
'The altitude plays a part (in slimming down) with all the boys so I'd expect to put a couple of kilos back on when we get back to Melbourne, but the body's feeling really good at the moment.'
His points per minute is up there with the super premos, if he can lift his tog he will be a gun. I just know he will be a star just can't pick him.
Gun. Breakout year in 2014, I'll probably pick him in my DT.

Can you shed any light on the points per minute stat mate? That would be interesting to see what his is, as you said compared to super premos.
well, for instance, JZ was the most interchanged player this season, and despite an underdone pre-season, still averaged over 90ppg in dt.
http://freako.championdata.com/2013/Fantasy_Freako_Rd22.pdf
his ppm are 1.04
compared to that for instance, Ablett's ppm is 1.00, as he played 95% time on ground, compared to JZ's 73%. So if JZ was to spend as much TOG as ablett, he would average 124.5 if he kept up the same scoring rate. Most premium mids however sit around the mid 80s for TOG though, so with that in mind, is JZ can keep up his current rate of scoring, and play around 85% game time, he'll average around 111 ppg.

last season his points per minute was 1.04 before round 23 (so its a little higher as he went crazy round 23)
for comparison
pendles is 1.11 played 86%
swan is 1.21 played 84%
ablett is 1.00 played 95%
SJ is 1.17 played 87%
JZ only played 73% up to round 22 for a 92 average.
If he lifts that to a more reasonable 85% and keeps the same scoring ( i think he will improvie it)
107 points.
Thanks heaps for the insight boys, never knew about the freaky champion data, that was also good to look over.
Ziebell's DT and SC scores are very much the same so that predicted average could mean he bumps his average upto 105+ in SC next season also, but I'm not picking him in that form, much rather looking at him in DT.
Could be a very unique pick. Thanks again boys.

not worth a look in SC as 105+ in DT is elite, in SC its good but you dont want a 105 guy in your team towards the end of the season.
plus with the 2 trades a week in DT you can upgrade later. You need to play the games differently now, i didnt realise that last year this year I have changed.
Cotchin JZ are currently in my team.
Thats a very interesting stat, hope he turns into a gun as he will.
Think I'm just gonna do DT and start with players I like/ break-out players that I'd never have the guts to start in SC.
Ziebell, Murphy, Cotchin, Watts, Grimes, SLOANE, Bennell etc.
Just for fun,
Sunday night: Wow Ziebell cracked the ton against Fremantle while being tagged by Crowley :o
Monday morning: North Melbourne are expecting 8 weeks without Jack Ziebell after a bump on Hayden Ballantyne
So Ziebell may have dropped some weight, but seems like it has probably gone over to Daw. He is massive!! :o

Wow he is a big unit isn't he. :o
Holy shower. Thats nearly too big
Yeah it's massive! Now for those who have seen the pic of Shoey in the Hawks thread, who wouldn't want to see them wrestling waiting for the ball to drop? Or maybe just have an arm wrestle...
