one of the very few rucks i'm considering 2 of Minson, Goldy or Nic Nat
Had such a ripper year despite being in a struggling team. NicNat is a lock for me. Will monitor the rest of the rucks through preseason

agreed, i think he'll keep it up next year
Lock and load with big will for me, cheers luv footy, looked all over for this!
Stats that impress me -
Tackles 81, Hitouts 860, Total Contested Possessions 185, Total Effective Disposals 216, Total Clearances 106, Total One Percenters 66, 4th for Total Contested Possessions for Bulldogs 2013, 3rd for Total Clearances for Bulldogs 2013, 3rd for Total One Percenters for Bulldogs 2013, 1st for Total Hitouts for AFL 2013
Well done on the info , this guy is in my team can see the Bulldogs making more improvement next season as long as he is fit he's locked no more mucking around with cheap rucks for me cost me heaps of points this and other years big Will has come of age ;)
If NicNat is ruck only, I can't see Minson making my team atm. Probably due to my bias with Leuenberger :P
Great player though, really hoping NicNat can be picked up forward, then it will be Minson vs Goldy for my other ruck spot, and a lowest score of 82 from Minno is quite impressive
Easily the best ruckman last year, but I'm not sure how long he'll be able to keep this form up. We've seen before that players have a breakout year then struggle to back it up.

Think big Will could be a exception here. Was always overshadowed by Hudson and last year being the solo ruck as you could put it, averaged 95. Stepped up again to 114 this year and as the only ruck once again with nobody there to take his spot I think he can do well again. He has that character about him that he'll put in 110% every week and has the 'I can do anything' approach. Does it at ground level, gets to every contest and is just a beast. Lock for me.

I hope so, I'm considering him that's for sure but ATM I'd rather Nic Nat over him.
he definatley isnt a bad pick but goldy has 2 seaons as a 110+ player, is younger and you would think if there was any upside out of the two it would be goldy.
nic nat is just too good value if fit as he can average the same as minson.
if nic nat if dpp though (not likely) than i will have Minson Goldy.
i dont rate the bench options at all so, the only other rucks that look good to me are sandi, lobbe, kreuzer they have issues around them and will the lack of good cover im thinking lock and load rucks this year.
I am going cheaper rucks this year I think, I went expensive last year and it cost me trades. :-\

Could even add Lobbe to that lot of players Holz will deffinetly continue to improve.

They may cost a trade but u already save 1 or more elsewhere having a premium(s) with money saved. Every year value picks are a must somewhere to afford all ur guns. This year rucks and forwards seem to offer value allowing big spending on backs (were there seem to be stuff all rookies so u kinda have to spend bigger than other years) and mids where the most points are.

Averaged 97 post bye and an average if 111 in the finals. 2014 is the year of the Lobbe

Certainly came of age but shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as minson, nicnat and goldy. They are way ahead
P.s those finals he rucked against Grundy and Blicavs... Enough said

Don't get me wrong who could be that guy like minson who goes from solid to premo. When you make picks like that you want them to turn into what you hoped or show it was a terrible pick and you get rid of them.
You don't want a guy who is decent so you dontvwant to trade them out but continually falls short.
Sure minson probably won't improve but you want to finish with the best team possible and I'm tipping minson to be one of the guys you want in your team cone round 16-17.
I'm even thinking minson Goldy.
I think either Minson & Nicnat or Minson & Sandilands would be a good combination depends on how your bye structure is.
Lobbe could improve more this year but you could say the same for Pyke now that Mumford is gone.

Yep.
Lobbe locked in first for mine.
2nd ruck is trickier...Goldy, Will, Sandi or NicNat
