I got there around 11:45am and had the photos about 45 mins later.

I had some family stuff hold me up and didn't get there until 2:45 and the lineup was similar to that second photo. Waited in the line for 10 mins until I heard the guy collecting money for Starlight say people who were lined up at 12:15 were only just at the front of the line then.
Unfortunately didn't have 2 1/2 hours to wait there so missed out on a photo with the cups :'(
I'll have to remember to get there earlier next year ;)

What was it like last year? From memory it was one evening wasn't it and not during the day on the weekend?
Was there a massive lineup last year as well?
I would say last year was about 300-350 people and I had to wait over and hour. Luckily Scrads was there to keep me company.
Wouldn't be surprised if 750+ rocked up this year. :o

Those cups are heavy, that was my workout.
So even though I said I wasn't able to go, things changed a bit and I had the last minute option of going. Got there about 1.30pm and got my photos (which I'll post later) at 4pm. Basically watched the local game of cricket the whole time haha.
Also can vouch for how heavy the cups were!
