Question:
Judd v Goodes - who is the best?
Option 1: Juddernaught!
votes: 11
Option 2: A grade, A Goodes.
votes: 15
The reigning premiers look to keep title alive, while the Blues continue a fairytale...
Juddy! 8)
Go Blues!
Goodes 331 games (409 goals)
Two brownlows, two premierships, 4Time AA, 3Time B&F, Rising Star winner, Indigenous Team of the century, International rules winning series Captain
Judd - 257 games (216 Goals)
Two brownlows, one premiership, 5Time AA, 5Time B&F, Norm Smith, 2Time AFLPA
Too close to call. Both absolute Jets and future Hall of Famers.

I'm guessing that 1 of those AA's for Goodes was as a ruck and 3 in the midfield. Was he ever put in the fwd line? He'd be one of very few people who would be named in the AAs in three different positions.
Way too tough to make a call on Judd v Goodes
But a lot easier in the Carlton v Swan debate... reckon Swannies easily
Mick coaches well in Sydney. Still, Swans to win comfortably and we get to see two cracking prelims next week!
I hope the Swans absolutely flog the Blues.

Well the juddster is a champion and well I have to be honest Goodsy is one of my favourite players to watch. After I saw him play a couple of years ago live and see his ability in traffic I was just in awe.
However this week Goodsy love to see you get up to play but I'm sure its going to be only in the green vest probably and I hope the blues will start the BLUETRAIN before half-time, its better for my heart.
Do not really care about this result as I dislike both teams. So hope whoever wins goes out next week.
Goodes is far better than Judd.

Freo in Perth makes it more than likely the winner here will be out next week ;)
Judd by a long shot.
Carn Carl
Mick from his press conference today, talking about Kreuzer
"I'll be extremely disappointed if Matthew doesn't play this week."
Mick also expects Goodes to play
"You always play champions"

Yeah of the three Rohan, Jetta, Goodes would expect Rohan to miss so we are not carrying too many into the team.
McVeigh looked like he was carrying something last Friday, was easily his worst performance of what has been an AA year.
My prediction is IN - Goodes, Lamb OUT - White, Rohan with both Goodes and Jetta to start Lamb as the sub.
I doubt Jesse will make way and I doubt Lamb will be back.
In: Goodes
Out: Rohan
In my opinion. Although if it's wet, we may see White get dropped.

Rohan almost certain to miss

He had his thigh bandaged pretty heavily last week and he did look proppy. Would be big blow if out as Carlton would then be able to focus on Malceski off half-back.

Got a calf issue. So dissapointing for him. Really surprised Lamb missed out.
I'm going Power into Carlton after this news...http://m.afl.com.au/news/2013-09-12/goodes-season-over
Maybe Malthouse is the Messiah after all?
For the punters, Sportsbet right now is at $14.85 for Power into Carlton 8)
McRooster, how do you make that bet? I can't seem to find it on Sportsbet.
EDIT - Never mind, worked it out.
Kreuzer has been ruled out now

If Sydney lose, dem feels for Ben McGlynn.
Sydney should do it comfortably. Carlton are too hot and cold.
Richmond should have buried them last week but let them back in the game and were then over run. Sydney wont let that happen. They are too disciplined and proffesional.
Sydney by 35
P.s Goodes by a whisker. Only because of his ability to play multiple positions

SUBS & LATE CHANGE:
Sydney Swans: Lewis Jetta
Carlton: Tom Bell
LATE CHANGE:
Carlton:
In: Brock McLean
Out: Troy Menzel
no surprises there mclean was always playing.
reckon if they play 4 quarters the blues can win this one, swans seem low on gas....
With Bell subbed, I had to trade him to Biggs in SC finals.
Nick Duigan's 'stache is luscious.

Come on Carlton!!
2 ridiculous soft frees in the first 15 seconds. Not a good sign.
Tipped Pyke Mike for the first. :(
Suspect many would have went Betts but not meee.. :(
Went with that Tippet flog.. ::)
Tippz no... :(
Mitchell needs some practice kicking a goal on the run missed a couple last week I think
Tippett subbed. FMDTMD.
Tom Mitchell hurt too.

been taken out of sight to be humanely put down.. ;D
Hahahaha. ;D
Freo would be enjoying this game.
now curnow Subbed out
Injuries galore
Good Armfield :) Take down Hanners now!
How many more injuries before this game is through? :-\
Lift Carlton, win some ball in the midfield!
Now Rampe has limped off
The Hawks really struggled to deal with the turf in the first half of their game at ANZ too.
McVeigh with 20 touches in the 2nd quarter to get the world record for most touches in a quarter.
Jeez McVeigh was huge that quarter
RIGGED!
Sydney's done something to the surface.
Carlton players on skates!
Looks unfair.....?
Play the game on a proper surface for flower sake!
Its ridiculous how many are slipping over
What the flower is wrong with the ground?!
Meant to be AFL, not ice-skating. Shocking!
But no excuse for Carlton. Not good enough boys, lift!
its not good enough for an AFL final
They would be better off playing at my local playground.
Some Carlton players having to change boots.
Bet Sydney have had the 'trick' boots from the start.
Duigan not to any favours for his AFL career tonight
Hahaha Fev's tweet. " Can't believe they are playing AFL Finals at Wet N' Wild. "
They called all our youth finals off tomorrow because South Freo oval was deemed unfit for them to play on due to the wet weather we`ve had this week in Perth and they passed this oval as fit for and AFL finals match terrible.
Carlton look tired and Sydney are the ones with 2 men down
We have been out-played..
Another record has been broken
Carltons first scoreless quarter in a final since the 1950s
That Betts slip was actually dangerous.
McVeigh up to 41.
Poor Jamison

Going to plenty of talk this week about the state of the ground.
3 more touches than McVeigh gets most touches in a final! GET UP THERE!
Side note - McVeigh's 75 DT second quarter would be close to a record surely?
That was a pretty nasty whack Jamo received. :(
ROK... Oh no.
O'keefe makes the Sydney injury hatrick!
One thing is for sure, McVeigh won't get that much space next week.
Such an ordinary game from a SC Finals/DT Matchday perspective for me... :(
Surely this has taken to much out of Sydney this week to win next week

A real shame we have to take half a team to Perth next week.
Our best would easily account for the dockers, but missing 3 of your best 10. And 6 of best 22, gonna be hard.

The team that played tonight was missing, Goodes, Mcglynn, Shaw, Johnson, Rohan, Reid who are all best 22. Include Tippett and Mitchell also best 22 and we would certainly beat Freo.

we will see Rico. Dont write us off for this week. Swans love being underdog!

People seem to have forgotten that Sydney's best has beaten most over the last few years including Fremantle Hawthorn and Geelong.
Probably won't matter though, Fremantle have had a much better season on the injury front and probably deserve the Grand final spot more than us.
Game on
People forget that Freo have had key players out all year too
