The Suns no longer have the excuse of 'expansion team' after its midfield demolition of Collingwood and the Blues never had an excuse. A finals spot on the line for Carlton!
We should get up but Suns have been very good this year considering they are a fairly new side.
Come on Blues ! :)
Gold Coast are up and about, while they probably can't make finals, they can cause a bit of carnage and dash the hopes of a few teams, Carlton being one of them. I hope and think the Suns will win this. At Metricon which definitely doesn't help the Blues.

a big +1
Watch the Gold Coast win tonight
I actually wouldn't put it past them to win nearly all of their remaining games. After this they have the Eagles in the west, Dees at Metricon, Port at AAMI, Saints at Etihad and the Giants at Metricon. Yeah, it's unlikely (especially the Eagles and Port away) but who knows?
Think the Suns can get over the Blues today.
Will be quite warm around 23 degrees a possible shower as well. Dixon returning for the Suns will be a plus as well.
With Bennell getting match fitness and improving every game the reliance on Ablett is getting less and less. If Prestia is ruled out with his injury then the Blues come in a bit.
O'Meara or Stanley will tag the great one Judd whilst Carazzo will more than likely tag Ablett. Whether he follows him to the forward line is problematical.
Go the Suns as I dislike the Blues
I'm nervous now :-[

wow, big outs there.. hope it's not true
GC SUNS @GoldCoastSUNS now
Two late changes for the SUNS @DionPrestia and @rorythompson16 out, replaced by Timmy Sumner and @J_Gillbee #AFLSUNSBlues
Suspect Prestia may be out and Thompson to be 50/50 myself should know in the next half hour or so.
@AFL: #AFLSunsBlues - Dion Prestia & Rory Thompson out. Replaced by Jacob Gillbee and Tim Sumner. Josh Bootmsa out. Replaced by Jaryd Cachia
@AFL: #AFLSunsBlues - Subs: Jacob Gillbee (Gold Coast Suns) and Jaryd Cachia (Carlton)
Missive outs for the Suns. I reckon the Blues may get home now.
Blues by 32 and gaz to score 117.
Honestly don't even know how or why Cachia was dropped and Boots was in to begin with. :P
GAJ and Gibbs playing for me, along with Nicholls making his on field debut.
Gibbs Gaz and Nicholls for me ! 315 would be sweet.
Huge out for the GC. Good to see as a Blues supporter

I'm sure you'll miss Boots just as much. :P ;D
With both Thompson and Prestia scales tip back to Blues slightly.
Kreuzer, Gibbs, Ablett and McKenzie for me with Nicholls emergency. Ablett has the VC so 150 would be nice.
Holy. I forgot my boy Trent Mckenzie ! Fire up Cannon ;D
Let Carlton win though :P

Yeah I wasn't entirely sure why he came in ahead of Laidler but he played a solid game in the VFL on the weekend and earned his spot. His body is still nowhere near ready for AFL level, but he was a logical swap for McInnes. I still have nightmares of him tearing his ACL last year and Carlton having to send Bryce Gibbs to Tom Lynch
Ablett, Gibbs, Murphy and Scotland (covering for Hanley) for me today. Bit of a make or break game.
The Cannon seems to be playing key defense on Henderson which is not good for his scoring ???
In DT and SC I have Nicholls, Gibbs, Cannon and GAJ.
In UF I have Hendo, Walker, Stanley and Gibbs again.
Are the Suns tanking? Not even a contest!

If Hendo keeps kicking goals they'll move him.

Yup. He also had 1 clanger without having a disposal. The turnover from the kick in ::)
Dixon could be a real gem next year.
98, 110, 66 (Subbed) 65, 119, 50 & 37 sub affected also.

If he is fit he will be a nice DPP FWD/RUCK next year
What will Dixon do if he shaves of his beard.
This is kinda off-topic but people should be that surprised GC are playing the way they are.
Players start to show some consistency when they are 20/21, then you consider that they got the best kids in the country through the draft + having the best player in the league. They should be beating some teams but definitely not teams like Collingwood and Carlton. So we need to win this :P
I traded out Scotland this week...
Anyone picking Robbo next year? :P
Shaw and Walker doing nicely for my Elite team. 8)
Is Nicholls alright?
Gone down to the rooms.
Nicholls limped off straight down to the rooms so will watch with interest
Hope the heat catches up with the Blues Lead back to 8 points.

It's an awesome beard. Two of the best in the game going around in Simpson and Dixon
Nichols looks like back on after half time - but looks proppy so may be just a passenger. Dixon will have to ruck if he goes off which will upset Suns.

Not half as much as it will upset me.
Micholls now offivially subbed out replaced by Gilbee
Poo.
Lucas subbed for Cachia for Blues
Nicholls. FMDT
Meh Nicholls my emergency in DT and SC only need Cox to play in DT rucks in SC Kreuzer and Goldy both playing now.
Unless Ablett has a huge quarter I need to decide who to give the captaincy out of Pendles, Swan, Griffen, Stevie J and Selwood
Forgot to VC Gary so yeah :(

Yeah same here except scratch Griffen slot in Barlow and Jack with the others mentioned.
FFS kick straight ! :-\ Please.
GAJ tons up in DT. 8)

Goldy on 117 at 3QT. Knew I should've put the VC on him over Spudlett :P
I don't think I've ever got a captain choice right this year ::)
Ouch ! Unlucky JRoo. :-\
Pendles**

His disposal is class 99% of the time.
I am thinking Pendles as well. Had a down game last week, will likely back it up with a good one this week
Scotland 123! awesome cover for Hanley. 8)
Murphy 76 was disappointing after his first half, but not a terrible pickup at his price. He'll be M9 when I get Boyd back next week.
Get around The Cannon ;D
Haha I'm going Pendles too.
Good win lads ! Could of kicked straighter but 4 points is what we need. :)

Yep definitely suited to the SC scoring system.
I've locked in my boy Mckenzie for 2014 too !
Also if you are like Ringo and jumped on Kreuzer at 380k. Bloody well done ! In ripper form.
No wonder Kruze was a number 1 draft pick. Absolute gun when fit.
Cannon :(

Yeah awesome get for anyone who got on Kreuzer at $380k. I was really close to, but picked Nic Nat instead.
Yeah same here ! Naitanui gave me a couple good scores then decided to give me shower.
Started the year with Kreuzer traded him out at $478k to Luey when he got injured then when Luey got injured traded Kreuzer back in at $407k.
Lachlan Hendersen <3
Gaz scaled down. Kreuz and Cannon scaled up
