Title: Geelong v Gold Coast, Round 10, 2013
Post by: ossie85 on May 31, 2013, 06:17:15 PM

Suns gave the Hawks a scare last week, but the Cats won't drop this

Adam McNicol‏ @AFL_AdamMcNicol 1m
Christensen the sub for @GeelongCats. Horsley the sub for @GoldCoastSUNS. #aflcatssuns

Geelong Cats‏ @GeelongCats 2m
Cats sub tonight is @achristensen_28 #dawntodark #aflcatssuns

And there's no changes to either side. :)

I have Christensen in my draft team. On comes Leigh Adams.

I am also still tossing up between Stevie J and Ablett for captain in SC.

When I was a young boy first watching the AFL, obviously SANFL before 91

Cat scored like 36 goals, well this is still the record, until they put in lights?

Could be anything tonight

Gaz just copped one then below the belt. Hopefully he can push into the middle a bit more

Round 1 to GAJ.

4 touches and a goal to Gaz compared to Stevie J's 4 touches. Both should start to pick up their numbers. Hopefully the Bomb can get a bit of the pill tonight as well. He has looked good when he has been around it.

Again following the match online but the Suns are travelling well again.

Gave the Hawks a bit of a run last week and doing the same again this week. Don't think they'll have the legs to match it with the Cats though.

Am I gonna regret picking SJ over GAJ.....time will tell I suppose

Plenty of water to go under the bridge, but really enjoying this game. Umpires letting it go, plenty of man on man footy, experience v youth. Good stuff.

Picking GAJ is never a bad idea

Picking him a Captain, well, he's perma in both forms atm

Gold Coast should no longer be considered as an expansion club. Playing too good now. :)

Can I though congratulate the umpires for letting the game flow and not calling the technical free kicks.

Hopefully this decision will not decide the game in the long run.  Suns should be in front now by 5.

Only downside and I do not mind is my bet that GC will finish higher on the ladder than Lions at the end of home and away.

Well done again Suns....

Can't wait for next year when we can push top sides a full 4 qtrs

Really like the improvement this year and I agree with Ringo that we will finish above the Lions this year

+1
I'm sick of the FF community saying to get him, "he's proven, durable and consistent"

he is none of those things.

what he is, is useless

When i saw Jnr's goal this morning it instantly reminded me of this from 2009:

Same player, same stadium, same pocket, just a bit closer. :P
