Title: Murphy and Selwood vs Watson and Swan
Post by: Longy88 on March 03, 2010, 07:36:02 AM
Gday,

Hust need everyones thoughts on these pairings,

Swan:certain captain but may have some downers with ball. Watson: Definate value and can score massive but like swan sometimes disapoints

Murphy: scored 100 in 20 games last year and can only get better. Selwood: Think he has sorted out his consistency and still young will increase.

Comments / thoughts  ;D

Tend to agree on all counts... your first pairing are genuine ball winners, doing the dirty work week-in-week-out... stacks of stats, usually nice scores.
second pairing seems to be a bottomless pit of talent, both able to win their own footy too (especially selwood... the guys is a freak), room for improvement here?... probably, both are still early days in their careers :D
verdict: i gotta go with the ball users for SC, Selwood and Murph it is.

i would also go with murphy and selwood. have more in them to take their game to the next level.

swan close to his prime and watson will have some off days as you said.
