Go Stevie J!!!!
Not sure it was the right call elevating him to captain over Murph this week, but it seemed right on paper. Going well so far! :-X
Zaharakis and Stokes are killing it :D
Loving Stokes new midfield role this season.
:(
Nice debut from Thurlow, match over though? :o :-[
I believe I just scored 448 from three players tonight :D
Zaha - 160, Stokes - 158, Enright - 130.

129 x 2 = 258 from our skipper Stevie J tonight. 21 handballs! Needed more kicks!!
Pretty good outing but not massive, will be interesting to see if it was enough to counter Swanny's score which will surely be huge.
Howlett and Hibberd have at least given me some hope......
Bloody Ryder >:(

Jobe had a shocker against GWS last week...
But GAJ against Melbourne is a massive worry for me. Boydy has a crazy record against North though, should *touchwood* pump out something massive. VC Jelwood was solid.

Gutted Cotchin missed with the points that were on offer today, but still happy with my teams performance, and barring a crisis, should cruise over the Llamas.

How can you say we're lucky?
Missing 2 of our best 3 players (on 2012 averages), Dalziell sub after tons the last 2 weeks. Our only loss has been due to poor luck. If McPharlin didn't score a 0 from injury sub and instead scored his average we would've won easily.
Stanton = like one of the highest if not the highest average in the competition without his injury game.
Pavlich would probably have 50 goals in tonight's game.
To be honest we're not really struggling, just have had our worst players play so far. Got our stars to come.
bradley hill you useless piece of hack shower have cost me a win. what a spud - worst player ever to pretend to know how to play afl football

Definitely not the best, pretty average score. At least not the worst. Need to find a new captain. Hopefully enough to get over the line this week.
Too late to find a new captain, Nails... Buddy vs. GWS in Tassie has the makings of a 300pt Sportsbet game for him.

He has always been a spud and you would've had to draft him knowing he's a spud. So don't really care about old news lol
Duffield's effort tonight has given us a slight chance for a win... but still very unlikely after the carnage that unfolded today. ::)
a permanent role in the midfield / wing in the best team in the comp and he can only manage a 33.
i'm delisting the flowerer and under AXVS rule that will be it for him, never to see an AXVS list again.

Can't believe it. Such bullshower.
Since Boyd has returned, I've gotten the captain choice out of him and Jelwood wrong EVERY WEEK. flowering Tuck was looking at a 140+ score before getting subbed out. To top it all off, one of the Bulldogs' best players all season (Cross) started as the sub. What a joke.
I guess we have Waters and Fyfe out, but still really disappointing... :(
Need a very quiet one from GAJ tomorrow, but theres close to no chance of that happening against the Dees. ::)
(9th) STRIKERS (1414 from 8 + C + VC)
Hoping to crack 2000! :D
If Game Centre is up to date, looks like Tigers are home.
Dongs are a better team than what they're showing. With a captain that sucks arse so far though we've been under performing greatly.
all up to date now, just did the last team, and the eskimos look to be doing their best to make it a close game between them and the llamas....

No upset here, the Dolphins with Gaz as captain vs Melb were always confident. Our players are just very consistent even if they arent all big names like the Bears, Folders or Dongs players. VC Sloane to come as well vs GWS :D
Btw did Kreuzer make the cut? Don't mind if he didn't following Jolly's score. Might need to find space for both next week in the team as they are in form.

Just letting you know CW that Jroo has alrady played for a 131! ;) And also the Folders only have three to play by my calculations (12 played).. So if I'm right both teams only have 3 more players to come, including our VC.
(3rd) FOLDERS (1419.5 from 12 + C + VC) vs (1464 from 12 + C) LAMBS (6th)
Correct me if I'm wrong. :)
Who wins?
LAMBS: M.Murphy (x1.5), S.Thompson, J.Giles, + 44 points
vs
FOLDERS: B.Reilly, N.Dal Santo, B.McLean, + HGA
Lambs! :D
Woo! :D
Hope you're right haha, will probably only be decided on Monday, gonna come right down to the wire :-X
Dal to bounce back and have a super game after being down the last few weeks. Probably won't get much attention from any blues players. Reilly should pick off everything in defence and take a lot of marks. McLean to keep up his good form. And hope that Murphy gets subbed off in the first quarter :P
Haha, Murphy to dominate the CJT hopefully, and Thommo to rack up 50 against the baby Giants ;) And Jonny G to dominate the Sauce :P
But in all seriousness this is going to be one close game! :o

Yeah very close, a big game from Scotty T and a solid game from Jon Giles will have me more confident, but with Murph's vice captain's bonus I think we are still right in the mix to win it. Will be close either way though!
DT-wise I was a bit disappointed Swanny didn't go huge, but it's good for my Asians side that's for sure :P
i am up against murphy as captain in british, so i'll be hoping to see clint jones ride him like a donkey ;D
Who is Scotty T :o
His name is Thommo! ;)
Com'on mate you're a local! ;D
Haha I expected his output to be a bit less than usual against the CJT so I went SJ as captain this week (needed a few more kicks!!) but still think he'll be very solid. :)
Righto!!
No 18 Jeremy Cameron, 10 Dev Smith, 29 Sam Kerridge, 16 Lukey Brown, 22 Andy Otten, 27 Tommy Linch and .........
46 Rory Lairdy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

and brown is a fantasy hack - can't believe you talked me into him in SC - still he will sit on my bench forever now, and later in the season i may eat my words and thank you
but for now he is a spud (fantasy)
Haha we'll see whos the idiot in that regard ;) ;D
Giles has been grinding my gears and scoring showertilly, I've been thinking damn I wish I could trade a midfielder for a better ruckman... I realized we have MIKE flowerING PYKE the superstar haha >:( why have I not been playing him?!
Oh wow, Pyke has been a superstar this year. He has the most contested marks in the game this year, even more than Cloke :o
And what are we seeing here from Lynch? 9 at the moment, probably 10 by the time I post this. If he keeps going in the last, this will be the biggest haul we've seen in quite a while.
Pyke has been more impressive then Jon Hack Giles that's for sure.
Btw Lynchy gonna romp in the AXV match record, 201 atm by my count? :o
spud missed his 10th
9 goals 1 thats dissapointing at 3/4 time
only because it could be should be 10
what a day out....
think 3 great khali votes are on the way...
I think the thing is CW is at age 20, is the main small defender, concentraiting on his man at this very early stage of his career
He did have 26 pos and 10 marks in Norwoods GF win against a team that had Brad Crouch who got no where near those numbers
Only Aish and Terlich were better
Nah Brown can attack, clearly focus on opp early days!
BTW, Paddy kicks a blinder ;D

Will be a close one BB. Giles with only 49 was disgusting, but I think it's down to:
Murphy x 1.5 + 92
vs
NDS + McLean + HGA
Gonna be damn close. :-X
And I also have the home ground advantage remember, which should be what, about 55 points or so?
Yep, you're right. Might be the difference there. :(
But Geez it's gonna be close! :o
Say Murphy scores 120, you'll need around 220 points from McLean and NDS... Could really go either way. :o :o
Seriously, flower my luck, the week I come up against Tibet Lynch has to kick 10 ::)
1-5 coming up.
I count a new record for the Asian XVs - 257 I believe for Lynch.
Not going to last though...Come on Gaz!
Browny, 70's in DT and SC
Not that bad! Lairdy robbed by the cheats after 69 DT, 51 SC :o
Lynch kicks 10 for 157 SC, these guys making it up or what? ???
Danger 147 really?
I know they need to spread it but when a player dominates and scores about the same as DT or less, well then?
browns 70 in SC surprised me but i may be one step closer to saying you were right - not yet tho

What?
Brennan has just been stretchered off... did he listen to me?
But in all seriousness, feel really bad for him. Gives us a better chance at a win though (still highly unlikely).
Tbag's highest score will be against the Eskimos thanks to the Crows playing the Giants. ;)
Yeah, I know what he meant, but we haven't played the Llamas yet. :P
flower, May subbed, what else can this weekend do to me?
watching melbourne play football is like watching australia play cricket - flowering depressing
That's disrespectful to Australian cricket Colli.

disrespectful - nonsense, they have been playing well have they?
I am a big fan of Australian cricket but as an Australian I can tell it how it is and lately it is not good - it is depressing - is it not?
lets hope for an Ashes turn around - hope being the key word ;)
will update game centre in an hour (after after the bounce :) )
Llamas all done 1980
Dongs suffer a lot of bullshower luck especially with injuries to our best players.
Pavlich, Hayes and Stanton would be nice. A Healthy Hayes or Stants would mean we wouldn't catch a showerty Dalziell sub score.

Why do I even bother ::)
Cotch, Rioli and Ryder all out, Clarke injured this week, Maister, Didak, Embley and Morabito also injured. I just need some bloody luck
Game Centre all up to date :)
damned elephants are going to beat me, maybe just by the home ground advantage, but a close loss is still a loss.
some very close games, some upsets and a couple of blow outs.
:o I thought we were gone, but looks like being a very close finish!
Bears: N.Riewoldt, Robinson, McEvoy, Walker + HGA
Dolphins: Kruezer, Jones, Betts + 178 points
Gonna be very nerve racking watching tomorrow night! :P
Strikers - K.Simpson + 329 (plus home advantage)
Vs
Headhunters - Armitage, Garlett & Carrotzz!
Can the headhunters scramble over the line!? It would be a huge effort!!
@CW: im guessing you have added nothing to the score yet for the home advantage?
no home ground advantage added until the end ( llamas has been added)
I also do not add emergency scores in until they are definite as in if you have a ruck that doesnt play and one ruck on your emergencies that does thats counted as it is the only option to use.
you can see all individual player by player score by score updates on the team submission thread if unsure.
Dont think so Mons. Unless Kade really stinks it up, like <50 :o

Ellard and Hendersen vs 800
Calm down, I got dis. ;D
A big tackling game from carrots and a bag for Jeffy could net a big score for me though!! 8)

Yeah either us or Bangkok ;)
Dolphins fixed was missing VC Sloanne
Hmmm
Not as bad as I thought.
200 behind with equal players left to play.
My players are stars and possible of bringing it home imo. Montags should go huge tomorrow along with Scotland.
Ahmed Saad, Zach Tuhoy and an out of position Tom Hickey
Versus
Sam Fisher and 362 points
The Gazelles continue their dominance

Oh, cancel that. I was thinking 4 players left to play but we only have 2.
Dongs are flowered. Our team is flowered and unlucky. We need full strength back. Should have played Gia over Brown/Byrnes. Gia is so up and down. Absolutely useless one week, gun next week. I can't seem to get it right with him.
Clinton Jones, Kreuzer and Betts + 362.5 vs McEvoy, Robinson and N Roo + HGA.
Think we've got this one in the bag and it should be our first 2000+ score of the season.
Good to see the Dongs, Headhunters and Folders also behind in their match-ups. We could jump to the top of the pile this week :D
The best thing about having Ablett is you have a set and forget 100+ point captain every week (most weeks it's 130+). He's had a 109 but otherwise his next lowest score is 138 I think.
Folders might pip us at the line with HGA Memph so you might not get to the top of the table :-\
Very close matchup, pretty much 100% depends on whether your muppett CJ goes to Murphy, and whether Murphy can break it and impact the scoreboard like usual. :-X
We had a lock in captain. Was top 4-5 average in the entire competition last year
Unfortunately someone called in a lockpick.

There's rumours Buddy want's out of Hong Kong with his contract due to expire at the end of the year. All this talk is affecting his performances.
If you want to sell him to us feel free...
I dont think u have to tell anyone why its good to have gaj in ur side Memp ::)

Oh that's just fantastic news. Now Memph gets Vlastuin's 134 as emergency.
This is a flowering horror round for the Bears.
Wow bad luck Ada :(
Yeah :( but you should now hopefully get the win. That would make me feel a little better knowing that (what I rate as) 3 of the top 4 teams losing this week - Dongs, Bears & Folders (You being inside the 4 as well).
wtf Ada
Scotland and Montagna will score 420 between them and Dongs are going to win. Not sure why you think we lose :o
Haha good to hear, thanks for the support >:D
Will be very tight with the Folders getting HGA but an untagged Murphy as VC hopefully will get us over the line. :)
Haha yeah, I'm expecting a 150+ SB score from Murph now. He should dominate without the CJT. :P
Damn no Jones is really not going to be good. Could anyone else tag? Maybe a defensive role for Ray?
But on the flip side, Carrazzo is out for the Blues, so no one to tag Dal Santo. Maybe Lucas could go to him, but I would back him to break that tag ;)
Idk but Murphy won't succumb to some showerty depth player tag. :P
Only Crowley and CJT are the ones I really worry about, Dan Jackson does a good job sometimes but the two C's are the main ones. ;)

I also worry about Picken when hes switched on.
Actually yeah Picken, Lower, Raines and Carrazzo also have significance.
Andrew Walker, how good was that!? NRoo on fire early.
Ellard gone, I flowering give up, theres another injury this round for me adding to the already huge injury list. I give up
I thought I was home, until I just saw Yaz off with a hamstring injury ::) should still be good though :P

I think you're home JRoo even if Yaz is out..
FFS. Dempster is having his best game of the season ::)
You're lucky all our best players are out this week or useless (Buddy)...
Your team is playing well though Jroo I must admit. I need Dempster to not get any more touches along with Montags and Scotland to fire up.
Murphy ankle roll doesn't help us but think he's ok.
NDS gettin plenty of it for the Folderz :-X

Haha yeah Dempster has been shower this year, finally decided to play well ::)
I'm doing good because my two Tigers I put as captain and vice captain had great games. I had some shockers from Hartlett and Knights injured didn't help. Also forgot to put Girffen in who played very well ::)
How good has Nick Riewoldt been this year? absolute jet. It's bitter sweet watching him play though... really good for my Asians, but I traded him out of my DT after round 1. :o Gonna regret that decision for a while I reckon!

This year Lance Franklin is averaging 30 points or so less than last year!
30 bloody points! That's costing me 60 points a week once you factor in captaincy! I'm 420 points down because Buddy is useless this year. Now I'm losing matches like this as a result of him being bloody useless. He scored 60 points less in this game compared to his last year's average. We should be 120 up on what we are now if he was as good as last year and this would we game on.
I gotta say I feel bad that Lance is doing so bad Nails... Esp seeing as he was your #1 pick which is someone we need to be ultra reliable AND score solid every week.. He's been neither :-[
I gues that's the risk with KPP's though, but you'd expect better from Bud, especially in a SportsBet comp. :-\
I guess you'll get a player next year when he lines up in purple/with a contract tho :)
PPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTttttttt
you feel bad nails that captain buddy is playing bad.....
how about captain beams not playing at flowering all after 7 rounds !!!
Haha yeah very true CW didn't think about that :P
I would've took Buddy pick one too. Dw Nails - some 180s coming up for the man.
I would've taken Pendles pick #1 personally, but Buddy will definitely bounce back.

How is that bad for you? At least you get a good captaincy average and don't have to put faith in a guy who can't play anymore.
At least you can find someone with a respectable average instead I just get 60s-80s each week.
By my calcs, if Murph, Brock & NDS continue to score at current rates of scoring Lambs win by one point including HGA. :o

that makes no sense - the logic is the same for you - you do not have to play franklin as captain every week.....
only you have better options than i do and still get to play franklin in your team not as captain, i cant play beams as captain or in the team at all.
helps you have a significantly better list than me but the options for you to play as captain dwarf the options i
have don't have
But seriously when Beams is back you'll probably capt him every week due to the "what if factor"
I can't really not captain Franklin (with Stants missing) as any week could be the week Buddy kicks 13 again. I can't afford to miss that.
Captain's effort for Murpha to win it for us now..
Needs to outscore Brock by about 15 points I think. :(

you have some seriously good mids tho (with stanton in) but agreed hard to pass up buddy bet my life you auto capt him for the next 3 at the very least...
all results are in ladder on the way - what a round.
ladder is up
So without the Folders' HGA it would have ended up at 1760 a piece I think. :'(
We'll get you in rivalry round!!
Haha a draw would have been something!! Good thing Murph got injured early on, only thing that saved us.
Haha definitely would! Unlikely thing to happen, let alone between rival teams! :o
But congrats on the win mate, we'll just have to train hard and get you when we're on a neutral ground - with KT! >:D
