Jolly absolutely killing it for me, what an inclusion - two goals so far as well I think. Keep it up son...

Nick Riewoldt is a flowering champion. Currently averaging a massive 152 and has just pumped out 117 DT (not sure of SB score).

Absolute steal at pick #146 overall in the AXVs draft. 8)

McEvoy also showing why he is a top 5 ruck. Mr consistent.

Not quite. I traded Voldt out of my DT after round 1. :-[ Long story, but basically only wanted him for the first month or so, but then Cloke scored 96 in round 1 and I traded him to Cloke as he had a much lower B/E and would potentially give me more cash generation to get in the Pav. Ended up trading Cloke to Leuenberger via DPP and then Pav gets injured for 6 weeks. shower.

Ouch. I now have Cloke and N Roo in my team. Stoked with tonight - three players ( Swan as C ) and three tons.

all scores updated after the first 3 games.

crabs under the rules forced to play last weeks line-up which at this stage is looking a lot better than it did last week :)

where are the dongs? expected some serious venting regarding captain stanton, still the rest of the team firing makes it of little consequence i figure.

still i do look forward to my weekly nails rants.  ;)

Turns out the Tigers have had as good a week as well.

Steve Johnson you are a star, 188 as VC. Let's hope Marc can dominate even more as skipper.

The Lambs have given birth to an absolute flowering monster this week, trumping the Dongs' highest score up to this point in time with a massive 2173 by my calculations..

Huge games from skipper Marc Murphy (173) and his vice Steve Johnson (188) lead the way.
Title: Re: AXVS: ROUND 6 GAME CENTRE
Post by: Nails on May 05, 2013, 07:48:26 PM
Dongs will be put up for sale on ebay

Let me know via PM what I should start the bidding at.

Accidentally forgot James Kelly due to him being out 2 rounds ago and got confused...
Cost me a few points over McKenzie

But to add that vice captain Stanton getting injured - Useless
Jack Grimes injury - flowering useless
Buddy franklin held goalless for only the 2nd time in like 2-3 years - useless

This team is full of useless overrated as flower not worth what they're getting paid HACKS.

Woo! Glad to see my maths is still working :P

Pretty stoked with that score, big turnaround after last week! Josh Hill, Jon Giles and big Charlie (subbed) were the only ones to not crack the ton for us. Midfielders really standing up, can't wait to see big Kurtley line up for us in a month's time! :)

Thanks Ad! Stoked with it, we'll probably need something like that next week to knock off the folders! :-X

Still a lot of rounds to go, think it will still be close between you, Nails, BB and me for the Buddha..

We've gotta be frontrunners for the Golden Dragon now though, will be hard to match that score in a single round I would've thought!

Did we decide on Free Agency?

I'll trade Franklin, Grimes and Stanton for Dane Swan

let's do it.

And Toga, I find it funny that you score the highest ever AXV score in one of the worst fantasy football rounds I can remember.

It'd be the round for it to happen though tbh.

Good players scoring shower

shower players scoring well. Was expecting at least 1 big upset this round.
Title: Re: AXVS: ROUND 6 GAME CENTRE
Post by: Adamant on May 05, 2013, 09:19:21 PM
Haha sorry BB, but it's pretty funny. The Folders are a great side and one of the premiership contenders, but really lack consistency. You started off very slow, then smashed the Bears >:( and then lose to one of the bottom teams haha.

I guess you have to expect inconsistency with players like Cloke, M.Johnson, Dal Santo, McLean and Zorko to name a few. They can be match winners on their day, but also pretty prone to chucking in the odd shower score. :P

for real, BEAMLESS and all, we did it with our lights on NO beam rather than low beam or high beam.

i have a favourite saying, "even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally"

this blind squrirel just found a nut  ;D

@ Adamant - HEY !  we are not "one of the bottom teams haha"

we are captainless , and one of the lower middle teams IMO :)

I meant you are one of the bottom teams currently. You are currently 15th on the ladder. Obviously won't be when you get Beams back. :P

I rate your best 15 at around 10th spot. :)

10th may be a little generous :)

understanding even with thompson, johnson and robinson we were not a premiership chance i traded for future success.

having these three would have been great but not great enough to challange for a flag, it is hard been at the bottom but hopefully my plan for future seasons comes good.

lecras was a great pickup, wright a shocker and hmac a shocker.

one out of three paid off, hmac was just required insurance for burger.

wright's only hope of being any value to me is if he gets traded to a bottom 4 club and gets to play on ball.

worthless at Adelaide this season. sub or not he has been shower every round.

Sidebottom let me down :( Could have really given the Dongs a challenge if he had pumped out a 150. Wankhoff is done now and don't get me started on Sauce Jacobs...

Fans didn't get there moneys worth with all our stars performing showerty hey Nails

We keep winning but can't get out of 5th spot lol.

Going to be a real close battle this season.

Second top score for the round, we are slowly kicking into top gear. Watch out Asian XV's.

Kreuzer still to return and Alwyn Davey and Ryan Lester pushing for a first team spot.

Our team just shows that you need consistent players - Ablett, Sloane, Enright, Adcock, Zaha, Jones, Jackson, Stokes and Lewis just keep performing week after week.

Ended a bit like the Bombers games but, surely the Turkish coach was nervous there during Saturdays games?

Were still a silly chance come sunday!

So the rivalry starts the same way the first Showdown did!
