Title: Melbourne vs GWS Discussion
Post by: Mr.Craig on April 21, 2013, 12:46:20 PM
Terlich, Viney and Jones in play for this one. Nervous because I took a punt fielding Jones ahead of O'Meara. :-\

Could pay off
O'Meara looked shocking last night, dropped a few sitters and just fumbled lots. Was quiet in Q2 and 3 and got some decnt junk time in the last.

Expect the dees to thump GWS and rack up the dt points.

Jones/Whitfield both doing amazingly, Terlich dud second quarter. Viney just poor overall.

god almighty, i should make a thread each week on which rookies ill be playing on the ground and who'll be on the bench

no exaggeration, EVERY rookie selection is wrong no matter what i do/who i try

Viney and Terlich combined for 2 points in that quarter.

not that i've got him

just Viney for me in this (had team to fix up, so couldn't get Terlich/Jones :()

Neelde gone if Dee's lose?

I should post my rookie emergency choices so that everyone can do the opposite - managed to get every single one wrong so far this year.

Viney's subbing is the BLURST! 4 shocking weeks in a row for me :-\

Didn't start the year with Viney, 18 is probably 52-60 less than people were expecting.

Terlich isn't helping me though, hopefully can get to 50 at 3QT 8) hopefully might get some junk time and reach his projected 66

But had Viney on bench with Moloney to tear it up.

Loving the 5 premo, Bull & 2 rookie setup.  ;)

Would be happy with 60 from Dean.

I don't think Neeld should be fired if the Dees lose, they're beyond terrible - no coach can solve that

Stevenson + Pittard always on field from now on!

That's been my rule from the start of the season lol, Pittard and Stevenson always on so I'm not disappointed if I flower up the decision! :P

Wait on him a bit, he's been getting tagged a bit but has slipped under the radar today. And he's not playing terribly quality opposition lol ;)

haha.

'Today is looming to be the darkest day in melbournes history.'

that's so insulting :P

like, really? what about the tanking allegations? the links to dank/ possible drug use?

yet losing to gws would be melbournes darkest day?

and omfg, was that byrnes showerhouse attempt at a goal? lol.

we're innocent.... there's no proof

Viney's quarter stats
16 in Q1, bagel in Q2, and 2 in Q3  ???
Viney now sits with a BE of 17, time to bail?

and Melbourne pick up a win ???

Hit the wall? Already.  :P

Approx B/E of 17. $183,500

Isn't that bad. But Mayes will rise a shower load more than that?

Was originally gonna get rid of Pittard this week but he performed well on the weekend, and Birchall will be pricey now. Have the perfect amount of cash to upgrade Viney to Watson so thinking about hitting the big red button on Viney (although he still has cash to make)...
Title: Re: Melbourne vs GWS Discussion
Post by: owenbond007 on April 21, 2013, 04:22:38 PM
yeah viney needs to go his cash growth will be badly effected by todays performance for the next few weeks. Made the mistake of benching o'meara over viney cause i feared the green vest when omeara was named on bench. Murpy's law prevails again.

or (if you're purely going for cash rises), Evans with a BE of -104 is a punt (already going to make you $50k, and that's if he steps onto the field and gets injured minute 1

I like your thinking.  ;)

Evans did well last year from memory. Tonned up first game. Worth the punt.

Think I'd feel more comfortable getting Sammy Mayes in tbh... Evans only scored well when Deez started dominating, not gonna happen very often! ;)

Viney - Evans
Karny - Mayes  ;)
