Huge game, obviously. I'm sure most of us will have a number of players on the go.

Lol @ you carrying on every time something you say turns out to be good for a few weeks. Yes you may be correct that Cloke turns out to be the better pick, I for one hope so. But to get on here every time makes you come of as the biggest nob going around. Surely you learnt from last year when you carried on and on and on about Stanton early in the year, only for him and you to go missing in the second half of the year. With how good your powers of prediction are, i'm surprised you've never won a fantasy comp.

Dusty has one bad game and everyone is shower canning him. Did you all say that about Selwood last week after his 66? or how do you feel about Watson's score last week? Im pretty sure all those who jumped off Clancee Pearce last year kicked themselves after a while. One game doesn't make a season. Save your gloating and self praise for the end of the season.

+1 exactly right, like R1 ablett gets 130+ dont hear from jukes for a week, then he gets tagged by one of the best and hes everywhere, are you forgetting that dusty got 140 last week, martin will average more than cloke and this was one game

When I was trading him in I just new he was going to let me down again. I was going to go for Cloke too (did in Supercoach :p), but I just didn't feel comfortable bringing him in, partly because of his horrible form last year (luckily I didn't have him), and probably mostly due to the fact that I don't really like him as a player, and hence don't really want him in my team (he has probably got to be one of the most inconsistent goal kickers in the league!). Never thought he would come out and smash it like he did today thought!

Still, it was just one game, and one in which most of the Richmond players scored poorly, so perhaps Martin can bounce back and justify his selection? What does everyone think?

78 is bad considering the extreme hype from the media AND FanFooty this pre-season.

DIfference between Martin and Selwood scoring 66, is that you know Selwood will get up the next week, or the week after because we know he's proven. Martin is hardly proven and still gets picked each year by mainstream sheep.

Haha at 78 being considered bad. It's not amazing but hardly a poor score.

I agree that Selwood and the like are proven but the fact is that all players have bad games.

The goal posts part was the joke.

However, like I said I don't usually consider 78 bad. It's "average". But for the hype + the 440k that you pay for him it is a poor performance.

My argument isn't that 78 is a bad score, but that I don't understand why so many people got him in the first place, just like last year (and expect tons everyweek). Onto next week, yeah?

Wasnt Martin priced at 84.9?

Only one Richmond individual got more than 90 today - Cotchin... So, Martins' 58 is "very bad"... but not disgraceful.

Has an average of 93.25 this season...... but priced at 84.9.
Had a last three matches average of 98.3333 so will still rise in price.
Has a two week average of 101... so should have a break even of something like, what, 70? Should still rise in price next week.

If he can average 90, he is certainly a good pickup. Won't ever be my Captain.... but, hey, 93.25/98.3/101 for 4, 3, and 2 week averages is not too bad at all!

Against Saints and Bulldogs though... Against Collingwood and Carlton, decent (semi in Carlton's case) he hasn't been able to score well.

If you avoid Martin all year you will use your 44 trades more wisely me thinks. Just too hard to predict when he actually goes BANG. With only 6 forwards to pick though, he's too risky.

got to look at the big picture overall or league, if league not sure, but for overall like me, it is only the season long average that counts.

dusty is almost as bad as a key fwd, up and down like a yoyo, but if he averages 90+ h serves you well, just have to tough out the 58's

i have him because i think he slays the average teams, and i HOPE he gets better at the good teams.

think he is a low 80 average player but with the ability and potential to go 90+

time will tell.

fact is even after the 58 this week on average so far he is above par/expectation ?

I'd say at the moment, kinda because of his 144. But unless he has another monster score next we'll he'll drop to a no as he needs to make up for this week...
