Title: Is Crouch a must?
Post by: colmullet on April 16, 2013, 09:35:32 PM
I do like the look of the kid but I just can't find a spot for him, my potentially tradable mids are:

Danger, Mundy, Mullet, Viney, Jones, O'Meara, Wines

Can't really see a spot for him there

I think you're right. In your case you probably have to let him slide through to the keeper and save a trade. Sometimes the rookies don't ripen when we want them to. Trust in the mids you have as they are doing their job.

Mundy is your only possible out for him I reckon.

I doubt he'll be a genuine top mid keeper and will not make you a lot of money from now either.

If you don't need the extra 30 - 40 points he'll get you and prefer the money Crouch potentially offers, then he is your man.

just on that, who would you get rid of Mundy or Shuey for Crouch?

Yeah Mundy would be my only option but if I do cut him it also means I'm probably burning an extra trade later aswell without that nice stepping stone to a premium

Colty - Shuey definitely out before Mundy

Not so sure.

I think the money you save now will help upgrade to a premium anyway.

cmon doc, mundy out after three games?

dont do that.

all your mids look ok atm. it's not the end of the world to let a rookie or two go through to the keeper if it doesn;t fit with your structure/plan when they hit their bubble. we were just unlucky crouch came in r2, instead of r4 or 5 or so, which would've been ideal.
