Title: How did he know?
Post by: its me lads on April 14, 2013, 11:10:16 PM
Assistant coach had Jasper Pittard projected for a score of 33. I thought nothing of it, never really take notice of projected scores but would you look at that he squeezes out 28. How did Assistant coach know he was going to have a shocker? Was it just pot luck? sure he has had some shockers in the past (37,3,6,9) but last time he played Adelaide was in 2011 and he got 87.

Do you ever look at the projected scores and make decisions from what that says? Like play one rookie over another for example.

No idea but before the round my predicted score was 2074 and I got 1979 so it's not that accurate.

Pretty much this. Sometimes they just get lucky.

Assistant Coach doesn't really project real scores. They just get together last three and five average for most of it, and rarely ground/opponent averages.

Pittard's last three games have been 78, 62 and 9.

If Pittard's 55.77 average of 2011 was 2012 and his 9 average of 2012 was 2011, it would've predicted much higher.

Round one Pittard was projected 9 lol. Then last week like 20. Then 33 then now 37. It's weird for him...
