OK so pretty set on trading DANGERFIELD to WATSON.
danger to be tagged by raines this week how can it be any better than last week?
so poll is for BEAMS to WHO ?
there is an option on the poll for KEEP DANGERFIELD and trade BEAMS to WATSON.
IF YOU VOTE THIS OPTION IT MEANS YOU BACK DANGERFIELD TO OUTSCORE EVERYONE ELSE IN THE POLL THIS ROUND.
Please think 2013 when voting - no need to hold trades and not sideways trade premiums. no need at all. 2 every week.
Beams to Watson and keep Danger?
l agree with trading Danger to Watson.......l did it before rnd 1 ;)
so my vote went for getting in Moloney for Beams and spending the cash left elsewhere
Sideline beams. You got him for reason mate. Max score this week beam might score would be 120 tops and rookie on bench you might get coverage and they score 75-80 you loose ground of only 40 points. Why waste a Trade. Should keep him mate that's what I'm doing as for him for reason.
I'm giving Dangerfield another week, if not hes Watson next week.. But, if you can't help yourself.. To watson 8)

Beams is listed as 1-2 weeks , we have two trades every week, i would just trade him straight back in when he plays his first or maybe second game.
2 trades we get every week, we use them or they are gone, so it is nothing to trade him out and then back in again this season.
i would have agreed 100% with you in every previous season, but why lose that 40 points minimum you mention for a week or maybe two when the trades are there to use - or lose ?

Not wasting a trade if it's gonna disappear if you don't use it... :o
I think Watson should definitely be high on your list of priorities, he had a mammoth score last week playing up forwards for a lot of it! :o
With 2 trades a weekwhy not dang to mollo and beans to selwood 8)

good call, means you like selwood better than Watson?
I seriously recommend Barlow. Feel he could get back to pre-Palmer days and is my tip for the Brownlow. So glad i started with him. The fact that Fyfe is playing mainly midfield and copping a tag is all the more beneficial.
Went with Fyfe. Cracker of a player and will gain cash. Best of both worlds.

Yeah I like that one as well, but with Watson instead of Selly ;)
Ryan Griffen anyone???

Ryan Griffen anyone???
was tempted to add him but those kids around him, and cooney, are stepping it up and boyd still to come back in, not sure griffen can be a top 8 mid?
not sure he can't either. but not keen on having any more uncertainties in my side after round ones effort.
Guess I have to say Cotch since that's my exact midfield 8)
Any of Jelwood, Lids, Swallow and Ebert would be good.
But Stants would be great.
Get Whatto there Colli....give Dangerman another week...Adelaide should be fired up.. ;D
First of all Id be doing the Danger- Watson trade. He's super consistent and showed he can break a tag.
With Beams i'd be going a little left field and go Brad Ebert. I'm guessing once Beams returns you'll look at getting him back in (unlimited trades why not just trade the same player out)
Ebert has a 129 under his belt so shouldn't drop in price prior to Beams return, on top of that he plays GWS, Adel, GC. He should score big in 2 of those and make some decent money, come round 5 trade him out for Beams.
You must trade beams if injured- Watson is a great replacement!
I have Danger too and not sure what to do with him. What would feel worse- trading him and he pumps out 130 or not trading and he stuffs up again!! I like Sammy Mitchell!!! Could be biased though!

Watson is a certain in.
I love Mitchell too, but he has scooter this week :-\
I'd bring in Molony myself and take the cash, think he's a must at his price, maybe give danger another week then trade him to Watson?
Beams to Watson. Lock it in.
Watson is a star and will be a top 6 mid once again. Extremely consistent and will rarely dip below 95. Safe option.

I think the main question mark above him is his ability in handling a tag and not the personnel around him..
He has Crowley this week who kept him to just 69 last year so will be interesting..
rowley is a monster but so is raines and keeping danger is ahead in the poll - followed by swallow :o
Out of who you have listed, I would do the following:
Beams -> Ebert
Dangerfield -> Moloney
Moloney is a must have for mine, going to make great cash while giving you an acceptable score for M5. A trade like that gives you cash to improve for next week. Ebert would be my pick of the other premiums, but for me it's pretty much a draw between him, Barlow, and Stanton for a higher ceiling option. Ebert just has such an easy pick but I think he should start to draw attention from tags and/or he'll never be left so unaccountable like what Melbourne did on Sunday. That was a real slack effort in man-marking! But he's a ball magnet, even in his West Coast days he was he just didn't use it very well back then...
Trade Dangerfield, unless you've got a headache elsewhere? Not the worst giving him another shot but if Raines is named you can be sure he'll struggle to ton up, which would put his breakeven for the next match up near 200.

well i certain like his consistency, and i'm not saying Watson won't deliver, it' just that with both of those trades you have saved 280k roughly, and to that i lick my tummy. especially if you have say longer, because then you got 500k = Maric. how nice isn't that :D
or you could upgrade your forward line, almost impossible to have a perfect fwd line these days
Do Beams to Watson.
Don't over think this...
Get Jobe. :)
I would do this mate.
Beams to Stants/Jelwood
Danger to Watson
Do we even know if raines is playing? If not you have to back dangerfield, next 3 games are against teams which were in the bottom 5 last year.
To be fair to Dangerfield even before the game there were rumours about him being sick and if he was then his terrible performance is kind of understandable.
Bradbert is someone that should be in everyone's team by the end of season. He will JET it this year.
I hate essendon but if it were me, In Stanton and Watson.
dons have no injuries, we saw what they could do last year uninjured. Just think they are in for a big DT year. Taking out the crows in adelaide is a good sign and now they come up against the dees.
Stanton 190?
Assuming this is the biggest issue in your team. I would double trade and would not look back on it.
Mundy, Barlow, Watson, etc.
I'd hold danger to be honest, as others mentioned was sick and I'd give him another shot, you spent 500k on him for a reason! Beams to Watson for me.
you shouldn't trade out 2 premo's after the very first round, I think the last option (keep Danger, Beams to Watson) is the best :) and if you must use the second trade you it on something more useful. Trade out a rookie who isn't playing on a cash cow with strong js ;)
thanks everyone got a cheer ... or two :)
seems watson is a must, but maybe keep danger too.
moloney for cash
ebert or swallow or cotchin the most popular "other" options.
will have a look at teams tonight,
if i need another trade elsewhere for any reason = easy i'll just do Beams to Watson and the other one i need to make then.
if i don't need to make another trade for any other reason I will be back to deciding if danger should stay or go and if go - to who.
but thanks great response.
Colli - I have done the Beams to Watson move - it just had to be done and take the best available..
Keep Danger for 1 more and if stinks it move him down to Moloney... ;)

What trade/s you end up doing Colli
Beams - Watson
Varcoe - OUT Cox - FWD Luenberger - IN
Kept danger, tho i seriously fear his score this week, sure he got 108 on raines last game but the two before that were under 60....
had to get the burger and next week i may have to get moloney and fix something else, so thought i would get getting burger in out of the way.
round 3 i will no doubt get crouch like everyone, and maybe get beams back in for danger? we will see.
With young star you cant worry too much about their old score as they weren't premium players then, Danger should go all right against us. Raines might actually be the Sub today, Beams has tagged before and Redden has been playing more accountable lately (Might be wishful thou, as I've got Karnezis and hoping he misses the vest.)
Like the Leuy trade too, He'll be a popular trade in a couple of week.

That sounds good, and if Dangerfield stints and you trade back to Beams he should be a unique because I can see how a lot of people would be dropping him. It's a win/win, Danger returns to gun form (and should be a unique as he was one of the most traded out players of round 1 (I don't see why it was only one game, some people just panic and make short sighted decisions) or Danger stinks up trade him back to Beams where the exact same thing is happening which I could see him at 4-8% team ownership when he returns :)
