Title: second loss in a row coming up
Post by: the flying hawk on April 03, 2013, 10:08:34 AM
after watching the second half against the cats i was seriously pulling my hair out because of frustration. now the hawks play west coast in perth on saturday only a 5 day break while the eagles have had 2 weeks to recover and prepare hawks have been seriously flowered over. :(

Am an eagles supporter. Have tiiped hawks :/. We are missing so many players and having a couple of strugglers like cripps playing. I think Eagles team was sliightly stronger when we just got up last year and we were playing better to then. So i think we will go down by a couple.

Or do you reckon the hawks will struggle majorly to run out a game?

Unfortunately I reckon we will be competitive for a half if that then be absolutely smashed with our lack of footspeed severly exploited on a bigger ground after a week's less rest in the 2nd half. Pretty rubbish on the AFL's part imho, if adelaide freo west coast and essendon are going to play a week early, surely make them play each other the next round so they have equal time to recover. So for example this week it could have been freo v adelaide and west coast v essendon which would have been fairer.

Agree with the Essendon comment - but Freo/Eagles/Crows travel a lot, they probably deserve this break

Yeh, pretty retarded to make it a split round in round one. Round 11 or 12 would of been better so the break is actually beneficial for the teams. it was stupid!

Not sure who to tip still but!!!
