This round was full of unexpected random scores, late pull outs, subs and some real round 1 jitters!
Dangerfield, Ryder, Zorko, Beams, Beams, Mitchell, Shaw, Whitfield, Toumpas, some very poor rookie scores..
VENT, BOAST AND LET US ALL KNOW
Let me know who your downs were and what you think you're heading for...
Danger and Robbo >:(
Yes Robbo can be added to that miserable list
Billy's stay in my team will not continue any Longer...

i think he may be injured or have a little bit of a niggle
is it serious enough to warrant trading? i don't want to be strung along by any injured players with all these trades :(
can't find any info and didn't follow the game
i think that this is one of the craziest rounds i've ever seen.
Toumpas will hopefully bounce back, as Danger and a couple others.
I have found the rookies to be quite disappointing.

i think that Zorko--- Rockliff is not a bad idea.
That's not to say that Zorko wont bounce back, but Rockliff looks real good this year

yeah he hurt me too the spud..
yeah there's heaps of options re: trading zork, i'd just rather hold him given his immense scoring power
obviously can't hold him if he's injured
Robbo, Zorko and Pav were the main ones for me, but especially Zorko. Smashed the first quarter then went to complete shower. Robbo got knocked out so can't really blame him too much for his poor score. Pav was useless, but I knew he was underdone and still took the risk. Will give both Zorks and Pav one more week though, so no knee jerk trading for me just yet.
Lecras even has screwed people over

The rookies we've picked have been a bit below par - Whitfeild- Toumpas- maybe Plowman, but Wines -Viney- O'meara- Stevenson(rookie priced) have been good. ( Btw i didn't pick the first 3 :D). Point being, some rooks have been ok
Hmm well In expect to be sub 100k
Dangerfield, Walker, Heppell, Scooter, Fyfe, Goddard, Zac Smith, Martin, Karpark, Zorko, Caff, Mitchell, Robbo
Thankyou Hammer Hartlett, Swan, Pendlebury, Rocky, Wines, Hartlett, Goodes, Rocky, Gibbs
But beat those misses!
I think its safe to say this dude called Kieran Harper will not be in my side next week.

Would a guy called Scooter be?
WINS
Hartlett@D4 (unless Terlich gets named next week...)
Boak@M5
Moloney@M6
O'Meara@M8
Very happy I started with them on field, and the first 3 are relatively unique.
LOSSES
Greene@M4
Zac Smith@R2
Zorko@F2
Needing to re-jig my midfield premiums and bring in Kennedy up forward, I think it'll be Greene out with a DPP rookie forward into the midfield for round 2. I'm surprised more aren't all over him, he's a must have after that round 1 showing I would've thought? After this week he pretty much doesn't come up against a decent defence for 2 months...

I was trying to talk people out of Harper! haha. Everyone was saying he'd play the Boomer role and average 80, but he actually needs to have Boomers talent first. :P
Longer must go, now I just need to find the best method of getting rid of him bullet, knife, assassination Maybe I will downgrade fyfe to moloney or zorko to someone, need to sus out what's going on with beams.
Ideally I would like to give premos another week at least.

Nup for two reasons ;)
1) I dont have him.
2) He's a superstar haha ;)

I was always thinking this :( Didn't have Harper until a few minutes before lockout when I pussied out of the rookie ruck stratedy haha ::)
MacCaffer half the price and a better scorer than spuder

Haha. ;D
robbo beams longer macaffer zorko
Pretty stoked I gotta say. 1962 with only Jimmy left to play - some big 50/50's that went my way (eg Viney on field instead of mitchell, sticking with Murphy over JPK despite the hype, Lucas traded out late for Moloney). Zorko, Z.Smith, Goddard and Scooter Selwood are on the breakers list, but can't complain too much I guess!
Longer, was never ever keen on him. Had the look of the classic 40 a game ruck all over him. :P
Mac, should have gone with a mid pricer at F6 with Caff on bench.
But apart from that, pretty happy. Redden netted 89( ::)) 80 DT's with 10 tackles. Starts slowly so he'll work himself into in the coming weeks.
One positive is I didn't fall for picking players specifically for their byes. :P
Another regret is not slotting Harbrow in there somewhere, ah well.
I wouldn't overreact re Zorko. He seemed to catch a disease which affected the entire team called overconfidentitis, but it is curable.
All done for 2022.
Let downs - cox, zorko, robbo, heppell, Goddard
Loving - ROK, goldy, hartlett, Gibbs, pendles, swan, ablett and nailing all of the best scoring rooks on the field. Wines, viney, Pittard, Stevenson, omeara etc
love the way a couple of rookies have gone wines viney
Let downs have been Danger, Zorko and Macaffer
Happy with most of my on field rookies - Goodes, Viney, Wines and Stevenson and O'Meara did ok.
Pretty happy with my round so far because it could have been much worse. Need Buddy and Blicavs to get 131 combined to get 2000 so should be ok. Par score this round 1950-2000?

This doesnt even compare to 2012. If this year is consistently like this, maybe 44 trades is a really good idea

Definately the stand-outs, but i'd give Goodes a mention as well
Ok here it is, the quote of the year, ready!
Port Adelaide the most Fantasy relevant of 2013!
Hartlett a must, Boak and Ebert booming now, Cornes still solid
Wines, Stevenson, Neade, Mitchell, Pittard maybe Heath
Robbie Gray ;)
Schultz looks fit :o Get him into your CB and SB now!
And, ready ....
Wait for it
...
Gus Monfries, get on or go home!

i understand what you're saying, but to be honest there are only a few keepers from Port.
Hartlett and Boak if you have them.
They are very relevant in reference to their rookies, as they have a stack of them playing

Umming and arring over ROK and Greene for the last spot. Glad to see I made the right choice :)
Giving Z.Smith one more round to prove himself. Hopefully he can post a couple of decent scores while Leuey is getting match fit
