*Didn't include Swan, Ablett or Pendles as they are all must haves.
Discuss.

Sidey just may be a seriously good POD...but maybe not?
Went to Kennedy which meant I had the cash to go Money to Murphy. Midfield now Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Kennedy, Murphy, considering going selwood over Murphy but

Haha exactly what I was expecting. I actually didn't have GAJ in the poll at first, but I figured if you had Boyd, it would be an obvious decision to go straight to GAJ.
think i may go to jpk for 1/2 rds, then to watson in rd 2/3....
thoughts guys?
I'd probably say Watto if he hadn't have played yet :-\
But Beams, Lids, Cotchin and Selwood would be my picks now...

No worries!! :D
Also answered your other question in the thread ;)
Went down to Murphy and used the cash to go Broughton (don't ask) > Robbo
see, I rated the midfielders this year as
Swan
Ablett
Pendles
Boyd
Watson
so, it's really annoying that boyd went down after watsons locked out
doesnt affect me though :P
I want beams but then i have 3 collingwood mids. might go deledio for something a lil different
JPK for me with his start. Shouldn't lose anything ( if not gain a little cash)

Woulda gone Watsome given the chance but now will go JPK..
He was my #1 pick in Elite, followed by Sandi..ruined.
Everyone should seriously be looking at koby stevens right about now
Ps dont get sucked into chasing sydney points.. Pick the bloke who you think is gonna average more cos they will burn you

Yeah, I chose Goodes and Mummy last year thinking they would smash GWS in round 1... they both scored under 95.
Although I still rate JPK as a good pick, It's between Jelwood & Lids for me. 2k short of Beams...
Think JPK is a good pick regardless..
But on Koby I am considering trading Wines to him, what are peoples thoughts on that?
From that list I would seriously consider Lids or JPK

yeah that's what i was thinking aswell. i really think he is the best option but what do people think about starting the 3 Pies?
if not i was probably thinking the Cotch
How do people think McVeigh will go in comparison to JPK & Jack? Am going to pick Beams & 1 of those Swans I think
Howw the frog does Cotch have those votes :o

Had him most the pre-season and ultimately I'm picking him over Moloney for Round 1. Could bring Moloney in later, but he seemingly became a little pricey when you can get McVeigh for $160k more who could go back-to-back 120+ scores...

Agree with point 1, disagree with point 2. Sydney near-premos offer a unique opportunity to grab some early points. Regardless, Dangerfield and Thompson's performances highlighted that any premo can 'burn' you in round 1 anyway, so now we've got 2 trades a week why not look at ways of getting ahead early?
Currently I've got Kennedy, McVeigh, Bolton, and Bird. Looking at finding the money to go Bird -> Bartel, but that possibility has probably passed now that Koby Stevens has popped into my team... :P
I've got an idea how about we pick our teams with 11 sydney player and 11 saints players. ::) :P
I've gone with Jelwood. 8)
Destroys Hawks, North & Power in his first 5: (118, 115 & 124) And he will be a keeper unlike (IMO) Kennedy. ;)
Cotchin will out average everyone here, but don't select him, he's changed his name to Dangerspud

Always finds a way to get injured, concussed, suspended, or rested. Will never play 22 games no Geelong premo does.

Mitchell has averaged 112 and 102 last two years and has averaged at least 100 the past 4 years
I was tossing up between Deledio and Mitchell.
I try to pick premium midfielders that have averaged over 100 for at least two years.
last year was the first year Deledio has averaged over 100. There is talk Newman will be spending more time in the midfield. Also, Hardwick has talked up Martin. This may affect deledios' scores.
I have chosen Mitchell.
My premium mids are Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Redden and Mitchell

Martin in the middle will only help turn Deledio and Cotchin turn into DT monsters!!
If Dusty plays inside, Lids and Cotch should be seeing a lot more of the ball being fed to them by Dusty so I reckon it'll just improve their scores, definitely won't harm them!

More upside in Selwood surely? 4 years of 100+ and is 24 compared 30+....

Lids went from high 90s to 110 because he changed his role to be a midfielder. He will not go down back and he was an elite DT backman for many years and now simply he is an elite DT midfielder. Im taking him as a guy with a history of being an elite DT player.
