Title: Is it worth reviewing the prospects of Essendon's 2nd tier players?

Just thinking, the next level down/rooks might well be getting a run this year and could warrant a closer look.

Can't hurt to do a bit of research into it. If there is a mass suspension, the very best ones to pick up will be those that were picked up over the off-season, as they'll basically be guaranteed games.

That being said, you'd be mad to assume anything about the outcome at this stage. It's still very early days. Just look at the Melbourne tanking investigation as an example.

That would require a decision and suspensions to be made before round 1 this season.
This investigation will go well into the season though and I doubt anyone suspensions will be made for a long time

There won't be any mass suspensions. The AFL will order the Essendon board to sack the man responsible and they will finally have Bomber as their coach, which is what most of you always wanted anyway.

Bomber brought Robinson from Geelong & Robinson brought Dank from GC. Bomber is the man responsible.  ;)

This is getting to hard. It's all Kyle Reimers fault.

This investigation will NOT be finished before round 1 so don't worry about players missing matches in the early part of the season.

The investigation will last roughly 6-8 months so if they were to make any bans it will be at the start of the 2014 season. That being said if some of the older guys were taking performance enhancing pills they might look to retire and avoid the embarrassment.
