I can see Martin averaging 95+, having a smahing pre-season and had bad year of 85
Who has some thougts on what he will average?
He won't go 90+. 88 I reckon.
I think he will average 90-95 this season and will pass a 95 average next season or the season after that.
95+ this season with a good preseason under his belt with chocco's guidance + playing higher up the ground.
100+ the year tucky retires 8)
I'm predicting 92 for him, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him go 95+.
In my team atm, but still 50/50.
thought he was going to do it last year, its only a matter of time and if he averages 85-90 again its a pass
think somewhere between 90 and 95
I reckon in the 88-95 range. Not in my team in the moment after having him all last year.
I'll be more optermistic anywhere between 90 and 112
porbably more like 98-100

Hrovat (70) + Martin (92)
Wines and Colin for me.

172 vs 160
I'd go Wines and Sylvia
Martin will at least average 90. Anything under that doesn't seem plausible.
Obviously a gun in the making who will improve with another pre-season under his belt. Hopefully a bigger fitness base and more time playing mid with Petterd, Knights ect who can take the fwd roles.
I dont see Wright averaging 95....

Me either. For Wright to do that, he'd have to better or egual the years of Pavlich, Rockliff, Roughead, Scotland, Greene, etc... not very easy to do. He'll improve, but I don't think he'll go to that level just yet.
Jukes is very confident in his picks though, so I can't really blame him for predicting 95.
Just because you say it will happen, doesn't necessarily mean it WILL happen. ;)
I'd expect Dusty to return somewhere near his 2011 scoring.
88-91.
Cotch, Lids, Tuck, Grigg only so much ball to go round in the guys 85-90 seems fair

this
Yeah, I've decided to drop him just now.
Gone with Sylvia over him at the moment. He is 50k cheaper and I think they'll average similarly.

Beams, Swan, Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Thomas all averaged 105+ and a 90 with injury

Not sure the Tigers are ready to compete with the Pies but you do list 4 100+ scorers and a 90, I see Dusty as the 90 in the group so stand by the statement. Not a Dusty hater as in/out of team but think he could crank up his tackles and get a bigger engine if he want to be a DT stud.
yeah Dusty just needs a bigger tank to have 2nd halves like his 1st halves
Should I start Martin or Wright though?
Martin will most likely cop the Carrots tag again
I reckon Cotch or Deledio are on another level to Martin. Surely they'd be tagged first.

I agree, but why'd he cop it last year in Rnd 1? :-\

this is exactly it, basically every game I saw of the tigers dusty was on 50+ at half time and quite often he didnt crack the 100. From reports dusty is training hard and really working on that fitness, thats the key for him to continuously pump out those 100+ games.
Im tipping a 90-95 average and he is locked as F3

he had a ripper NAB cup, maybe it scared Carlton? :o
For me he has to be a top 6 forward or its another upgrade you have to make
is he a top 6 forward ?
Franklin
Cox
Chapman
Johnson
Bartel
Pavlich
Zorko
Rockliff
Thomas
Robinson
convince me he is :)
Coz Stevie Robbo Chappy Rocky Martin
Roughead, Thomas, Zorko, Pavlich and Bartel will all be close
Franklin: Argurably not many serious team are going with him early.
Cox: Won't be going up anytime soon you wouldn't think.
Chapman: Having a godd pre-season. A number of reason on 'why' not to pick him.
Johnson
Bartel: Was in a moon boot all preseason ,stress fracture in foot.
Pavlich Won't play NAB, had like 3 surgeries.
Zorko: Who knows what 2013 will bring for him.
Rockliff Duh. ::)
Thomas Well documented injury.
Robinson: No reason not to pick him.

Haha, I'll give it my best shot.
Franklin ~ Will maintain average of around 98-102. Don't think he can lift his average. How can he when he needed 200 to get to his current average? ???
Cox: Body is aging and at 512K the only way is down, or a plateau for Cox. Don't see him slaying out the 105+ average of a few years back.
Chapman: Believe the trend, will continue to dip in average again. Or at least maintain the 90+ average. Risky.
Johnson: Either scores big, or gets a rudimentary 80-95. Robbo had more tons than him last year.
Bartel: No pre-season, the trend wil contiue with his average. No upside you'd think.
Pavlich: is bulletproof, but 3 surgeries and no NAB? Surely you can't have him in? ???
Zorko: No real justification NOT to pick him. But does half a season constitute premium?
Rockliff. ::)
Thomas: Might not be ready for round one.//
Robinson: Nothing against him really, his hand injury may have diminished his scoring last year, but that's up for debate...
The pick of the bunch are Stevie J, Rock, Robbo & Franklin. Maybe Zorko if your a fan.
___________
Then you have dustbin, we know from past seasons that he has averaged more than what he did last year. So its fair to say that he could match that previous average and then some. Potentially making him a value pick if you reckon he can get back to his 2011 level standard.
Im believing ;D i just need an extra 200k now can you ring VS and ask .. thanks buddy
Edit: i only need 150k
I don't have that much influence. :P
The question for me is Martin or Goldstein? With Cox in the other position.

im sure he is talking about dustin martin. with either Goldy + Burger in the ruck and Cox up front. or Cox and Burger in the ruck and Dustin Martin up front.
I think go Goldy i can see goldy averaging around the same as martin, but having cox up front gives you that added flexibility.

Yeah I tend to agree with Holz, probably go Goldy although I'm staying away from him.

Something that's been bugging me. I'm just not sure whether Zorko can back up his second half of 2012, so for some reason I'm feeling like Dusty is the 'safe' option! :o

Yeh that's my worry. He could well explode & be a bloke that shoots you up the rankings as a nice POD!
And yeah haha while I say 'safe', there is an element of risk involved in selecting Dusty... But as for between these two I reckon I'll be more comfortable selecting Martin 8)

I'm the same. I think Zorko will drop down to a 90 average, which is still decent. Saying that, if all these reports about Dusty's training are true he will go 95+ and possibly even 100+ if he really rips it up.

Like the look of Cox in my forward line. Think Dusty will be a possible upgrade, hope he goes well.
