Trying to sort out my backline, and just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on Conca's position!
Discuss
Absolutely!
Can't quite break into the Tigers awesome midfield but when Tucky retires, that's when we should get nervous about his back eligibility.
My thoughts anyway :)
I would have thought so, as Le said with the likes of Lids, Grigg, Tuck, Jackson, Cotchin and co in the mids he will move in to the mids when Tuck retires
He is a lock in my backline next year
Yer I reckon he should be back/mid. Played in the backline at the start of his career and will start to play more midfield this season
yep will definitely stay a backman
You would think he would keep it.

A lock in our Euros backline for a few more years ;)
He shouldn't be he will be a pure midfielder next season was always going to be just spend time learning the game down back.
The only thing that may keep him DPP DEF/MID is his average points. As for where he played the end of the season and where we all know he is going to play all of 2013 that is MID only.

He played a lot more time on the half back flank than in the midfield in 2012 so I think he will definitely keep his dpp.
Not sure why you think he will only play mid in 2013. He is still behind Tuck, Cotch, Lids, Foley, Martin, Grigg and to a lesser extent probably Knights and Jackson. He will certainly play more mid time in 2013 but think he will still spend plenty of time in the backline
I'm not going to argue with you with that display picture :), but i would be very surprised if he was not playing "on Ball" 90% of 2013.
Morris Ellis and Webberley all to feature in the Tiges backline not to mention the addition of Chappy....
Conca was taken at pick #6 as a huge midfield talent, he will get better again in 2013 and belongs on the ball...
I'll be disappointed to be proved wrong, but not shocked :)

Webberley has been delisted.
I agree with you Colli, Conca played in the backline while he was learning and but will start to play more midfield time as he gets more experince and he could even possibly be a tagger.
I reckon he will be a back next year and possibly the year after, but will be a pure mid after that.
