Fair enough imo, he's a fringe player, and anyone would be a bit filthy after being drpped for 2 GFs.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind him at giants either :P

Kinda similar to Campbell Brown, on the fringes of our side and a great bloke but we just can't pay him big bucks nor give him a spot in the team every week. Kind of hope he goes there just for his sake because I am sure he would do well for himself there :)

yeh obviously Murph was behind a few ppl for a regular spot so good on him, it would be a very tough decision to leave a club that has looked after you for so long... unless your name is Tippett :P

I liked him as a player and he seemed a good bloke but I don't begrudge him for leaving, hopefully he does well at Gold Coast. What will we get for him as compensation, end of 3rd round pick maybe?

Should have played the GF this year after the way he played the Semi, was unlucky to miss out. Hodge was always going to come back in.

Great news for the GC, is exactly what they need

in my opinion i never thought much of murphy he was goot at times not always he was never became that player the hawks wanted him to be, but in a young side his experience will show. I always thought that he was a player that made mistakes but i was a fan of him in 2010.
