2012: Summary
A knee injury early on kept Birchall out for his only 2 misses of the year. 2012 was virtually a carbon copy of his 2011 season, 3 120+ scores and a handful of sub 80 scores.
2013: What to expect
Prediction:
Has Birch hit a scoring wall? He didn't improve on 2011. Yet that doesn't mean don't pick him: you wouldn't be disappointed if you picked him last year and there's only one way his PPG can go, up. No doubt I expect to see him in a lot of draft teams, he seems ever-reliable creating the play for Hawthorn and has truly become a bona-fide playmaker for the Hawks off half-back. There is a concern that Suckling and Guerra etc could eat up his R50 numbers. Yet whilst the Hawks are winning they'll eat a heap of the 3300 pie and Birch looks like he loves pie.
PPG: 97

Was locked ... lost abit of faith now knowing that birch prefers pie > cake. Shame.
Locked....so reliable.
Have had him the last 2 years and love the fact he's Set and Forget. You always know he's going to score well. Will definately grace my field again next year.
Lock.
His consistency makes him so appealing.
definitely locking him in next year
Locked in again. Such a great user of the ball
This is also a great way of making profiles. Top marks mate.
Lock! A very reliable scorer down back!
Nice job batt
