2012: Summary
2012 proved another solid year for the Irish recruit.  Hanley improved his DE% dramatically, pushing up his SC 8.1 PPG.  Consistency remained a big issue for those who bought into his high ceiling with a particularly concerning standard deviation double that of a consistent defender.  However his free roaming half-back role has given the room needed to improve his consistency.

2013: What to expect
Prediction:
Even the slightest improvement in his basement scores would push his PPG up noticeably.  At the time being he looks to be the only Lion to be running off half-back and it's clear Voss is comfortable keeping the faith in him even when he spuds it up.  Turning 24 and going into his 3rd full season, he might just have the goods to break the 100 barrier.

PPG: 94

Strongly considering him as a starter at he moment. Thinking birchall, waters, Goddard (esp if he changes clubs) and Hanley as starters at the moment along with rookies and bock.

Agree. Very risky. Although not to many defenders have a ceiling like his. Tough one to pick.

I have a feeling if Reilly regains back eligibility he'll be a much more popular pick for only $10k more given how he's played so far in the back end of the season.

Needs to bring consistency to his game.  If he kills it early I'll be looking at him.

Seems to attract a tag and doesn't have the ability to break it yet.

He's in my plan team for now, but of course that will change heaps by round one. Highly rate this guy, although like others have said consistency is an issue.

Started the year with him, traded him out and then back in.
Very frustrating and inconsistent by worth a look next year.
