Title: Jack Watts 2013
Post by: LF on September 09, 2012, 12:18:42 PM
What are your thoughts on him for next season?
Could be a nice POD in the backline.
Do we think he'll get MPP fwd/def?

Has to keep improving every year doesn't he? how long till he dominates?

if he sweeps across half back like portions of this year he's well worth a look i think

he actually went backwards this year haha 72 to a 69 average. but yes i think he'd be close to breaking out.
i might wait and see and get him after he's shown promise, rather than take an early risk

if he is half back, will probably average about 85-90.
Gets alot of marks and is a designated kicker at Melbourne which means he will get the ball from the other players just so he can kick.

Going to watch his pre season with interest.
I think he has the potential to "break out" this year, his body is suited to key position like CHB and it has started to bulk out a little over the last couple of years.
I Suppose playing for the Demons is another concern and his DT avg going backwards is too.
Probably wont start him but will be watching him closely.

Could be a good POD if he keeps playing across half-back, but not for me.
