Title: How does Stevie J handle a tag?
Post by: ubeaut on August 22, 2012, 02:15:45 PM
Surely with his midfield performances opposition teams have to tag him harder? Will Picken pick him up this week, with Selwood and Boyd going head to head? Bird or Jack next week? How does he go with a hard tag?

While on the topic who (if anyone) does Scotty Selwood go to this week? Maybe with Swan being hard to keep up with and Pendles not playing 100% he will go to Beams who has been dominating? Food for thought.

Stevie j is known to go missing. If they tag him he can go into the mids
Or sit forward.. I know that I would tip Stevie j against picken 1 out in the square..

Only the coached know who they will tag.. I'm not going near beams this week as I think that scooter will go to beams.. Swan doesn't damage teams unless he gets 40+ beams will..
Picken went to Selwood before and I would expect him to again

Wouldn't worry too much about Stevie copping the tag. Everyone scores well against the Bulldogs these days and the Sydney taggers aren't elite stoppers, more run with players. It's still probably unlikely he'll cop the main tag and even if he does he should score well
