Wellington Warriors Round 5 team
After a win last week against the Tornto Wolves, the warriors still find themselves unbeaten after 4 rounds. This week the Wellington Warriors will play against the Seoul Magpies at Seoul.
Aaron Cornelius and Liam Picken have both forced their way into the senior team for this week. Cornelius played a good pmatch last week in the reserves scoring 88 points and he has replaced Ryan Lester who has been in a somewhat ordinary form so we hope Cornelius can follow up with another good score.
Liam Picken has replaced Joel Corey on the interchange, Picken has been scoring consistently in the mid 80s so far this year so he has now earnt his spot in the senior team.

Turns out I forgot to get my team in before the bounce! :-\
Well if you are going with teams from last week then my players in this game won't be affected, I am happy to play Monfries, Ryder and Pendles remaining as captain.
Will name my squad after the game is over and I have more time to sit down on the computer!
mmm Hocking loophole looks good to come in...
fml.
Off to an acceptable start. Beams and Clarke posted reasonable scores, emg Fletcher looks good enough to replace a backman, and my opponent had the misfortune to have a player injured in the 1st quarter. Injuries to opposition is my only hope of winning games this year haha. Foolproof tactics.
I'm thinking that without Ablett in the side I might have to accept Zaha's 113 as captain... :-\
Sandi is out ;D Would have preferred he was the sub but meh I'll take anything even if it's only 20 points difference :P

Tough one this week... Home ground though >:D
Def: M Suckling, P Davis, J Carlisle, A Smith
Mids: L Shuey, K Jack, L Shiels, S Selwood
Fwds: T Cloke(VC), B McGlynn, L Dahlhaus (C), K Tippett
Ruck: A Cordy
Inter: L Parker, K Stevens
Emer1: H Hocking
Emer2: L Jetta
Emer3: D Stewart
OUT: Kennedy (Om), Stratton (Om)
IN: Carlisle, McGlynn
Carlisle should be back for Anzac day & I expect him to go forward & he should score better there. McGlynn comes back in for Kennedy as he seems to be in better form. Scott Selwood the captain this week. Hoping Shuey is alright seeing as he played out the game...
Change of captains. Taking a big risk but Dahlhaus has been in great form & playing GWS :-X Changed VC to Cloke as well.
After much debate... Koby Stevens comes in & Lewis Jetta goes down to emergency #2 :o :P

Just letting people I know I have these players playing out of position:
Jackson Trengove (Def) playing in the Ruck line for New Delhi
David Rodan (mid) playing in the Ruck for Buenos Aires
Ash McGrath (fwd) playing in Defence for Toronto
All of which will get half-points
Didn't realise McGrath was listed as a fwd!
Will post my changed team now.
Toronto Wolves
Defender I Jacob Surjan
Defender II Michael Jamison
Defender III Ted Richards
Defender IV Michael Johnson
Midfielder V Scott PendleburyMidfielder VI Sam Mitchell
Midfielder VII Nathan van Berlo
Midfielder VIII Jack Ziebell
Ruck IX Paddy RyderForward X Aaron Edwards
Forward XI Jack Riewoldt
Forward XII Angus MonfriesForward XIII David Hale
Interchange XIV Clinton Jones
Interchange XV Ash McGrath
Emergency
I Sam Wright
II Kieran Harper
III
Captain Scott Pendlebury Vice-Captain Sam Mitchell
Changes made since team posted yesterday:
Jacob Surjan moves from Emg 3 to starting Defender
Ashley McGrath moves from Defender to Interchange
Sam Wright moves from Interchange to Emg 1
Aaron Davey moves from Emg 1 to Emg 3
All OK now?
Made a few mistakes with the size and Davey's color but not going to edit it! Triple post but oh well :P

Haha all these people having ruck problems and I have 4 players who can play there this week without losing points :P
I see Berlin are playing 3 ruckmen this week (Jamar, with on the Interchange West, Seaby).
Yeah funny that lol.
BTW no change for the brewers
Pacific Islanders Team Sheet
(I'm guessing that Darren Jolly has to be locked in since I hadn't named him on Tuesday, but he was named last week)
(also, phew, just got in)
DEF: Nick Smith, Josh Gibson, Matthew Jaensch, Lewis Roberts-Thomson
MID: Chris Judd, Simon Black, David Swallow, Daniel Kerr
FWD: Drew Petrie, Todd Banfield, Sam Reid (SYD), Jack Anthony
RUC: Darren Jolly
INT: Dion Prestia, Tom Simpkin
EMG: Levi Greenwood, Quinten Lynch, Nick Suban
CAPT: Simon Black (300 game match, hopefully he'll turn it on)
VCAPT: Drew Petrie
Should have played Griffin... :-\
Edit: Finished with 107. Was really considering going with the 3 rucks this week :(
Hibberd has been awesome for me all year, Probably my 4th best player, and he gets injured..... in my first home advantage game :'(
Looks like a 15-point home advantage is coming my way :-[
Hey ossie can you confirm something for me please? As far as I can tell ML will be playing Armitage out of position in the back line to replace Laidler who didn't play so he will be getting half points. Since he is the home team he will get his lowest scoring player get double points, so does this mean if Armitage is the lowest scorer after having his score halved he just gets that doubled back to his original score or does the lowest score before it has been halved get doubled?

Good question CF same will apply to Tigers who are playing Trengrove in Ruck due to no rucks playing.
Glad you understand what I meant Ringo cos wasn't sure if I explained it clearly enough. Anyway I'll give an example for everyone else if they don't understand, using players from my team.
Say I am playing at home, but I only have 3 defenders so I play Jarryd Blair as a defender. He scores 60 points so it gets halved to 30. I also have Minson in my team who only scored 40 (must have been injured). Whose score gets doubled?
The way I've been doing it is Minson's score of 40 would be doubled. (Would have been great if he did that last week btw!)
All bonus/penalty points applied separately. Which is why if your captain is your lowest scoring player in a home match, his score will be TRIPLED not QUADRUPLED.
Fair?
Thanks Ossie. Sounds very fair doing it that way :)
Dahlhaus as Captain... Not my finest hour :( Cordy is doing better ::)

But no ruckmen, a poor score from Crameri, and 6 Port Adelaide players....
Hmm yes good point. May just go change my bet then...
Westhoff - 113
K.Cornes - 100
Boak - 89
Rodan - 82 (halved due to playing out of position)

9 century makers from the Pumas WITHOUT ABLETT!! Be afraid :P
I'll take the win, need to bounce back next week though :)
Ossie has stopped my winning streak :(
Top score for the week 8)
And with Camerons and Birds 114's sitting on the bench...
With scores of 86 and 96 in the last 2 weeks Matty Wright is trying to force his way in to an already packed Puma forward line that already consists of 5 players with averages over 81. After Whitecross' stellar start to the season he has dropped off the last 2 weeks and could be the first in line to be dropped for Wright...

6-8 before he can start doing exercise, so then he has to build up his fitness base again so could be 12 before he starts playing again yeah ;)
EDIT: And now Fyfe out for 12 after electing for shoulder surgery... So Pyro loses his number 1 pick (although Sid picked him). Poor pyro :(
