Title: Does "2 weeks" actually mean 3 or more games?
Post by: Crustynuts on April 20, 2012, 03:42:46 PM
H. Shaw is out for "2 weeks" with a hammy.  In the course of 2 weeks (actually 13 days) Collingwood play 3 matches: 21/4 vs PA, 25/4 vs Ess, 4/5 vs WB.

Potentially he (and Thomas) could miss 3 at a minimum if not more.

Then again, probably I and all the other coaches, have got our just desserts for picking such an unreliable twat.

Weeks refer to games. He might be back for Anzac Day, never know.

Two weeks is usually two games - should be the same in this case but hamstrings can be fickle.

BTW I wouldn't think that sustaining an injury makes Shaw an 'unreliable twat'.

Collingwood said that he'd be out for 2 matches. The AFL just changes that round to 2 weeks because not all players get 100% gametime.
