Considered playing a non ruck as ruckman but seeing as Cordy has Melbourne I changed my mind. Carlisle out with soreness & Hocking makes way for the in form Jetta. Taking a bit of a risk and making Tippett captain this week... He has GWS so if there was a time to do it then it's this week :-X Hopefully it pays off.

Director of Coaching for the Pacific Islanders, has submitted a team for the Islanders in absence of Coach C4.
This team may only be temporary, and if C4 names a team it his selections will be a official.

Tippett on 105 @ 3 quarter time ;D Paying off!
Nice choice Boomz, well done! 126 to end it all.
Me and CF... G
Magpies: 964 from 11 - thanks largely to Luke Power and Harry O'Brien. Have Griffen (c), Deledio, Bolton and Anthony to come. Could be 500 points from that if I'm lucky and Griffen does well.
Pumas: 568 from 7 - with Sloane scoring a century. With Ablett (c), Roughead, Cross, Houli, Hannebery, Waters, Whitecross and Minson to come.
I think this is going to be close. I'm 396 points in front from 4 more players. A lot will depend on Ablett and Griffen....

Ablett doing pretty well but Whitecross not for CF...
I'm tipping CF in a very, very close one :)
Shuey :( First Leuenberger last week now arguably my 2nd most important behind him... At least I have some alright mid depth...
Whitecross had his first stinker for the season :( Along with Tuohy who was on 29 at quarter time but only managed another 18 after that :(
Think I am in trouble this week, as I have it currently I am on 1,017 with Houli, Cross, Hannebery and Minson to play, plus my lowest score doubled which I'm hoping is Whitecross' 47, up against 946 with Deledio, Griffin (C), Bolton and Anthony. Don't like my odds...

Pumas have to be worried about the rest of the season re: Ablett....
This could come down to home-ground advantage :/
Yeah I didn't see the match last night. Did it look bad?
Hopefully he wont be out too long or my season will be over! :(
He "should" be alright. Nothing certain yet, I'm fine with him having a week off to get 100% fit because we have the Suns next week :P
Wow my team sucks.

:/ Really?
Excluding the game currently in play it is:
You: 1150 with Cross, Hannebery and Minson to come + a likely 47 point homeground advangate
Me: 1066 with Griffen (c), Bolton and Anthony to come...
If anything, I'd say you're slightly ahead!

Yeah so lets say I am 131 ahead (with the HG advantage). Hannebery is playing like crap, only 26 at the start of third quarter, whereas Bolton is 44 and Anthony 59. Assume Hannebery finishes on 60, Bolton 90 and Anthony 105, leaves me 4 points behind with Cross and Minson up against Griffin captain. Griffen should outscore those 2 so you will win ;)
EDIT: Just checked and Griffen already on 31 less than halfway through first quarter...
Magpies win I reckon, Griffen looking at 120+ at this rate.
Glad I got the win over Cairo :)
I think I should win... Not too confident though :-X
Close one between myself and ossie. Currently have it ossie leads by 8 points. He has Griffen left as captain and I have Cross and Minson, so need them to outscore Griffen's doubled score by 9 to win. Don't think that will happen though...
Dahlhaus trade turning out to be a great one for me so far ;D

CORDY SUBBED flower OFF DOGS
Lol... Current scores at 3 qtr time are:
Pumas: 1,388 (with Cross on 84, Minson on 60)
Magpies: 1,384 (Griffen on 66, times by 2 as Captain)
Now it's my turn to concede! (Or when CF concede, did that meant he forfeited? lol)
Geez Griffen barely touched the ball in the last quarter while Minson went wild
Haha yep I forfeited so you get the points! In actual fact I was playing mind games with my Doggies players, I made them believe I didn't think they could do it so they went out to prove me wrong!!
I'm liking the even contribution across my team, but unfortunately I lack captaincy options :/
At least try to beat me by more than 47 points CF! Don't want to lose on Home Ground advantage...

Going by current scores I think I beat you by 11 if we minus the 47, so if you had been the home team you would have won...

So far 27 of my squad have played at least 1 game in the first 4 rounds. That's good signs that even if I do pick up some injuries I should be able to cover it :)
Still no matches decided by Home Advantage, though 2 (Pumas/Magpies, Wolves/Spetsnaz) went awfully close....

My reserves have really done well every week which is a good sign, especially with the injuries mounting!
Really pleased so far >:D Going into the season I thought I would be lucky to win this many over the whole year! Quite a few players have lifted & I just hope they can keep it up :-X
Still searching for that elusive first win. Was close to causing an upset this week. Higgo wearing green wasn't a pretty sight. Bennell vs Matera is going to do my head in every week.

If you had been the home team you would have picked up the win, just like ossie would have against me. You'll get there eventually :)

We've had 32 players play. With 10 MPP's and a deep list, if the current rate of injuries keeps up, we'll be one of the few teams who can put a full team on the park in the latter end of the season.
I cant believe Im winning...
New Delhi on top is pure luck, havent scored well at all!

It's pretty funny really. They are the 10th highest scoring team so far but had the least scored against them, which is always very helpful ;)

Hey os, updating the scores in my thread and just noticed that 21.11 does not equal 141. Would you prefer to be 21.15 or 22.9?
Lol, those things annoy me now :)
I'll be inaccurate with 21.15

Haha good choice. You can blame the inaccurate kicking from your forwards for the reason you lost ;)
