Title: Resisting the urge to trade early
Post by: Matt_352 on April 02, 2012, 09:32:08 PM
Trying to improve my dreamteam results from previous years, Usually I make the noob mistake of trading out players early who put in shower games.

Main players that I was disapointed with round 1 were:

Heath Shaw
Greg Broughton
Brandon Ellis
Steven Morris
Dylan Shiel
Stephen Coniglio
Chad Wingard
Orren Stephenson
Tory Dickson

Confident these guys will come good though, theyre too good/promising not to

I'd take the rooks off that list (unless that is their season avg lol)
Shaw -_- hopefully doesnt get fwd tagged and hopefully broughts role on Johnson is his only defensive one, then let him loose ON THE BALL!!

What a waste of 2 trades, you end up having to bring Swan back in later in the year. Rediculous move in my opinion, 1 week in and you're all getting carried away

If he has a terrible start to the year and his price goes down by ~100k by the bye, and the guy you traded him out for goes up - wouldn't it be a similar albeit riskier use of 2 trades as harvesting a cash cow?
