Yes, i am going to reveal my whole side, no gaps, everything is there for everyone to see:

Mids: D.Swan , M.Boyd , G.Ablett , J.Caddy , S.Blease , S.Clifton << D.Shiel , J.Magner >>

Fwds: L.Franklin , P.Chapman , A.Goodes , D.Giansiracusa , S.Sidebottom , D.Smith , D.Pfeiffer << A.Hall , A.Kennedy >>
Cash: $151'100
There's been alot of changes as i pressed the Clear Team button earlier today, and went from scratch.
The forward rookies are better than the back rookies this year, I would lose a premium in the forward line and get anohter one on the backline (Broughton ?)
Midfield is interesting I guess Caddy or Blease was the 'smokie' you have been raving about. Blease at 220k is an interesting choice, I assume you have done the research and stuff that gives you the confidence to pick him, good luck :)
Are the colours supposed to mean anything? :P
parker or mccarthy would have to be significantly "safer" picks than Blease, kid has potential but has he really shown it?
Good looking team.

You've got enough cash to turn Clarke into Golby with a bit of coin left over. Not tempted?

I do too. I got rid of Golby coz of the byes. Didn't like the idea of starting with 4 Rd 11 bye players, incase i never get the chance to upgrade them. If i need to upgrade i'll just change some rookies to higher placed ones (Wingard, Clay Smith for example) otherwise i'll just keep the cash and turn a rookie to a premium after 5-6 rounds.
How PB shows off his team. Some of the top guys are revealing too much.
Do you expect to get any 0's during the 3 bye rounds? If so how many and if not, how?

You can't avoid 2. He has a great structure.
Yes, i will get donuts, but i'm not worrying about how to try and avoid them. I've just gone in with an aim to try and have the highest point scorers and balance is with the byes. That is the main reason why i have Gia in my side over other premiums, one of the best Rd 11 bye fwds, and he's there for balance.
Rd 11: 3/3/1/3
Rd 12: 2/3/1/3
Rd 13: 4/2/2/3
Having 4 out in Rd 13 in the backs is fine as i hope to have traded out either Morris or Ellis by then. The mids and Forwards are steady. and in the rucks i can change Redden or McEvoy if either is not performing to my expectation.
Ah, dammit sam blease (is that his first name?)

I dont like your smoky/unique picks :P but i guess thats why they are unique
Yeah, his name is Sam Blease. Now he just needs to perform. :-X
Nice team Powerbug
Like the Mummy/Mac combo set forget use Giles like the cow he is.
Your forward structure with Proven performers is good the likes of Sidebum, Zaha, Robbo and Gray have the potential upside but I guess you got three set in stone.
Caddy seems ready to blow his top, Blease could be interesting.
Nice team some solidarity and element of risk which could pay off.
Tonight I give your team a 9

14'300 for Dreamteam last year. Very slow start but was finishing top 3k for the final 4-5 weeks of the season. And this year is the first time i'm taking Supercoach seriously. :)
Its stupidly scary how similar that team is to mine... Changed out a few due to the GWS line up (Miles, Darley) but thats it.
No point thinking about the byes yet, spread them out and work it out in the coming weeks.
Pretty much our mids are the only thing different, i went 3 prem 1 smokey, 4 rooks (2 bench)
im not going to post mine up on here but ill show you if you want to compare :-X

ok... I'll remember that. :)
Good to see a bit of a unique team out there other than your standard cookie cutter team. Gia is an interesting pick, and with the cash you have left over i would be extremely tempted to upgrade him, but thats what makes him unique haha. has had a great NAB, but he has just never scored as consistently as he used to :\ have you picked him cos you think he will fill call an wards spot? if he does return to the midfield he will be DT gold and a great pick at that price.
like your dual premium rucks, think its the best way to go, however not to fond of mcevoy at the moment.
Blease is another interesting pick, same with gia, with the cash i would be tempted to bring in a caddy/mccarthy/parker as they have also shown a lot more potential than blease in the NAB but hope he turns out good for in the end :)
this is just my opinion but:
- pfeiffer is a spud! think someone like adam tomlinson or tory dickson are better picks, but they do have rnd 11 bye, where as darren has rnd 13 and this can be handy when upgrading. up to you though :)
- be vary wary of marty clarke. malthouse loved him and thus he played often, no doubt the kid has talent but is a bit rusty, but don't think he's as safe as everyone thinks he is with the amount of back men collingwood have.
- think ellis will be a great pick, but not sure if morris will score that well. if your happy with a 50ish average then by all means pick him, but don't expect anything to flash.
would love it if you sussed my team out and gave me a few tips. just posted it up on the RMDT forum now :)
I see your looking for this week in week out ey PB?
QuoteSam Blease had 28 touches. He had a ripper game, and I think he had seven or eight tackles as well. So, he had a real breakout game, as far as putting everything together, playing back, playing mid, playing wing, kicked a goal - he’d have been rapt. And, on that ground, you wouldn’t have expected it from him - a tight ground with not much space, but with his leg speed he took them on and was able to break them open a little bit, especially going into the breeze. His run was so important.
thatd be a gun pickup ;D
Nice job PowerB
Was that against the Suns by some chance? ;D He played 3 full games last season and played very well in them. He was the sub in 1 and got concussed in his 5th game.
Just realised my four rucks are playing each other this week. Mummy vs Giles, McEvoy vs Redden.

Keep D.Martin, and H.Shaw, both will pick up their games. Dusty has played top teams, wait till he has an easier opponent he will destroy. Shaw, I wasted too much time on him, I have him as well but i cant bring myself to trade him just yet. So disapointing Tarrant got injured, I was hoping his and Maxwells return would boost Shaws points, but we shall see when Maxwell comes back.
Broughton i am going to drop i think, but i know as soon as i do he will be actually playing midfield and get tonnes all day.
The ones on your radar could be dangerous. Very Risky...
Yeah they are. I think i will keep Dusty and Shaw. Although Tarrant is out, Brown returns this week, so him and Reid hold down 2 KP spots. And it's vs Carlton, so i still won't be worrying if he scores 60-70 this week.
2082. VERY VERY HAPPY WITH THAT. Avoided all the bad guys, except Chapman and Martin. GAJ as skip held up and Boyd was ever so reliable again. I idn't trade either, which was good as my plan was Broughton >> Hurn and Coniglio >> Greene.

Why did you decide against Coniglio to McDonald? I have been considering it myself.
Sorry for not getting back to you in time.
I see Coniglio scoring just as well as McDonald, so potentially good enough for a 6th mid for the coming weeks (6-7) So trading him to McDonald will only get 100k on the trade, and I'll only get another 100k IF i trade McDonald out when his price flattens out, which may not happen. So looking at the present time, one trade for 100k isn't enough, and holding the No. 2 draft pick is better value.

I think you have a lot more upgrading to do before you worry about Goodes. Gaining points from upgrading players like Morris, Clarke, maybe Bugg, D.Smith will earn you plenty of points and by the time you finish doing that, Goodes will be back!

Yeah, i'll look to hold the trade for as long as possible, as i'm going for league wins.
I'm happy with Bugg and Clrake as 6 and 7 for now, neither are disappointing so i'll keep them. A forward UPGRADE from Hall or Devon will come before the goodes trade.

Rd 2: Blease :-* >>> C.Smith
Rd 4: Mumford >>> Roughead

Rd 7: Ellis >> Heppell
Rd 7: Magner >> Horsley
The Backs:
lids and God have solid, Shaw has returned well while Heppell and Broughton are finding their feet. Bugg looks to have flattened out, but a 70 avg from here until byes is the least of my conerns. Marty Clarke is finding a way to score well. Morris is picking up while Tomlinson will be mentioned in more detail below.
The Mids:
Top 4: Superb, i don't care if Abletts missed, he's started extremely well. Magner was nice for some cash, thankfully i held onto Coniglio, Shiel is providing great cover at No. 7, while Clay Smith will be talked about more below.
The Rucks:
After Mumford going down, Jarryd Roughead has been a beast for me, scoring goals, getting the ball, but not doing much ruckwork which is why i bought him in originally, as when he's around the ball (like most players) he scores more. Doing very well though, almost out-scored Franklin in the last couple of games.
The Forwards:
Chapman has been great despite a quiet start to the year, he's scoring tons and that's what i care about. DANGERMOUSE!! has been tank, lol at Ziplock fro trading him, Franklin and Martin scoring well. Was so close to trading Marin after 3 rounds, glad i held on to him. D.Smith, A.Treloar, both are scoring fine getting me cash. Couch is doing nothing but is also priced at nothing, so no loss there. Goodes and Hall i'll explain later on.
The Trades:
So many left it's not funny, going for league wins so that's why i haven't traded guys like Shaw, Ablett and Goodes is still there.
The Goodes:
Out for 6 weeks, expected return: Rd 13 (Straight after Rd 12 bye) My plan is to take this guy one week at a time, becuase the longer i can go without trading him, the longer i will go wihtout trading him. As i explain below, i can get my desired result wihtout trading him this week, so i will hold again. Making it 4 weeks to his return date, so now it gets debatable as to whether i should trade him out at all, and by the time i answer that question it's 3 weeks to go, now there's no need to trade him. Problem solved.
The Equation for Rd 8:
IN: Zaharakis , Maric , Spurr
OUT: Tomlinson , C.Smith , A.Hall
By use of DPP i am able to trade out any two of the listed players, and trade in 2 of my above shortlist.
Hall >> Zaharakis
Hall >> Maric (Using Roughead DPP)
Tomlinson >> Spurr
C.Smith >> Spurr (Using Couch/Goodes DPP then Tomlinson DPP)
C.Smith >> Zaharakis (Using Couch/Goodes DPP)
C.Smith >> Maric (Using Couch/Goodes DPP and Roughead DPP)
Okay, so you probably get the picture now, i have the use of many DPP players to get the desired result, which is: Spurr IN and Zaharakis/Maric IN. Question is, who is more important and which two trades do i use to get there??
Smith --> Spurr
Redden --> Maric

Redden --> Maric
Anything but that last trade lol. Then i'll be benching either Roughead or Giles :o
Gotta get Roughie into the forwards.
I mean, Spurr & Maric in is best outcome, but need to do it so Giles ain't benched.
Redden will be lucky to get another game.
Just updated to see where by worst bye round was going to be, turns out i'm 10/10/10. :D Although my two trades are going to see me bring in 2 Rd12's for an 11 and 13 most probably. :-\ :P

I think that's his donut. Yes, his donut is a bug.
ahh, yes, i figure. No that's not my donut, Morris is playing with Tomlinson as emergency. My donut is Devon Smith in the forward line. :(

You got rid of Blease??? but he is playing this week
I hate this game. Didn't trade Shiel >> Zorko thinking that the trade will come in handy later in the year, lose to the top side in my school league by under 100 points. :(
C.Smith >> Zorko looks the goods this week, but nothing else.
Blease coming back in :P
He may come back into my side too ::)
Trading Clay Smith to Zorko this week, nothing else.

29k lol. Going for league wins. ;) Though i should still finish top 10k.
Looking good for your league with 17 trades..!
Yeah, cheers. I run into a side who is 4-1-2 in my school league (i'm 5-3) not confident on winning as i expect him to trade and i'm not.
Plus i have a lazy 8 donuts this week, going David Zaharakis as captain. (risky i know)

Planning on bringing in those 2 guys this week, from Zaha and Horsley. :D Rd 14 i go Giles/Redden >> Cox and Treloar >> A.Pattison (85k ruck/fwd) This will allow me to switch him with Roughead if need be later on. :)
Looking good..! Definately holding Treloar another week? It's a tough call that one, if he pulls another 21 his price would plummet - but he's been better than 21 all year..!

Well that's what i need to decide. I could trade into the doughnut to save cash, although he ay come out and score 100 and thus have a low BE and hold the trade off again. I am tempted to trade him this round but i think i'll hold and have 12 trades for the run home. :D
There's no Swan in that midfield, it looks a bit empty :(
Actually, looking at it now, I think Morris >> Grimes/Waters is more important than Giles >> Cox/Maric as Giles is still scoring okay while i can pick up more points from Grimes/Waters and removing either Tomlinson or Morris. :-\ Do others agree??
I agree just because Morris has the bye this week! Giles definitely worth holding for this week vs Melbourne.

Can't do it this week :-\ Don't have the dough. I could hold off getting Watson or Beams but there's no benefit as the two i'm trading out both aren't playing anyway.
It will leave me with 9 trades, a finished backline, a finished midfield, Roughy and Giles in the rucks, and Zorko at F7. Only $39k but i have guys like Shiel, Gibson, Giles and Zorko who will have made lots of money.

Downers- No swan
- Martin not Sidebottom
Editted team as i changed my trading plans. Doing Big O >> Campbell this week, should give me enough coin to go Gibson >> Stevie J/Sidebottom in Rd 16, thus keeping Zorko and making the side look alot better with a fwd/mid benchie. :D

yeah i don't think I'm going to have enough trades or cash to get swan either, going to be stuck with pendles when he becomes nice and cheap, but with a midfield of ablett, boyd, thompson, watson and selwood i really don't mind.
Swan is just way to expensive and unless he stinks it up in these next few rounds i can't see myself getting, it leaves me minimum trades for the finals and id rather upgrade Hargrave in the finals towards the end, then try and get in swan.
Pendles + Any premium defender > Swan + Hargrave
just can't trust hargrave these days with his late outs.
i like your defence looks rally solid, however worried about your fwd bench if someone doenst play haha.
btw how f*cking amazing is sloane. my love for him is indescribable. really taken his game to the next level this year.
Yeah the fwd bench is a worry, especially if i don't have the money to do Gibson >> Stevie J in rd 16 and have to use Zorko. But with Zorko there at M7 and interchangeable with Couch, i feel like i should be able to cover it. And also, if a fwd is out and a ruck benchie is in, i can swap Jarryd Roughead into the forwards. :) So i have the DPP all sorted. :D
IDEAL SITUATION:
Over this week and next week:
Giles >> Ryder
Morris >> Grimes
Redden >> 85k Ruck
Bugg >> Carrazzo.
If i get that i will be laughing. Coz i'll still have Shiel, Treloar, Sshaw, Gibson on bench and only need to make the one fwd upgrade if Zorko slows down. :D (Treloar in fwds)
If i find it not worth it, i'll just do: Giles >> Cox and Shiel >> L.Brown of the crows (for DPP) and be in the same possie with Treloar and Zorko switching.
Which sounds better??

The trades i've made for this week:
Giles >> Cox (gtfo Giles, run your course, well done on that achievement)
Treloar >> J.Allen (Made some cash, but the low score has forced the trade to be done this week)
So here is how it looks. With the remaining 5 trade i want to do:
Tomlinson >> Docherty/L.Brown (Whoever gets a game first)
Gibson >> Sidebottom
Redden >> Hale (If i'm really up myself)
This way i will have 22 premiums with coverage everywhere. D8 is S.Shaw, D9 is a swing between Docherty/Brown and J.Allen. M7 is a switch between Zorko and Couch. M8 is the other one of Allen and Docherty/Brown. R3 atm is Redden but could easily be Hale and Pattison using the DPP link. R4 is Tom Campbell. F8 is Zorko and Couch and F9 is the Hale/Pattison switch. :D If Couch starts to get a game then Redden >> Hale isn't needed.
So awesome DPP links everywhere, as i knew it would turn out. Despite my ranking atm, i back myself to come top 10k, which would be great, and i hae myself firmly planted in the top8 of two of my leagues, and making my move in the other 3. :D
Only thing missing is Dane Swan.....
well, i'm doing Treloar >> L.Brown this week, then plan on getting Allen/Docherty/Bagualey. Everything else is still on order. Roughead is being forced to play in the forwardline this week, with Franklin and Couch (most likely) out.
No problems down back with Goddard out, S.Shaw plays and Tomlinson is my emergency.

what was that about Couch being out? aha
haha, well spotted.
Couch vs Campbell. Who do i start??
how is that dilemma even possible...?
why, do you have Jarryd Roughhead?
If you read my team then you would see that i do have Jarryd Roughead, and have had him since rd 4. :P It's now Redden vs Couch, with Campbell out, playing Redden as Ryder is out for Essendon. :D

Was nervous when i saw Redden was out, but forgot i traded in Cox. :D Going in with this squad, minus Broughton as i hope to upgrade him, to either Scotland, Suckling, Birchall, or Adcock. Leaves me with 4 trades, after i offload Gibson (Coz i'd like that DPP mid/fwd back) I'll have about $200k with 3 trades heading into finals, hopefully enough to get solid bench cover (not that my DPP isn't enough) and MAYBE turn Sloane >> Swan. (Will only do if Sloane get's rested)
Please give feedback and thoughts. :D

Very nice PB. Would agree with that Sloane - Swan trade, but obviously Sloane gives a quality POD. Have commented on your other thread that Scotland would be my choice to replace Brough.
Where you sitting overall?
9 / 10
7.5/10
Broughts>Scotland and keep Shaw for cover.
Sloane>Swan
Then 9/10 ;D

Sloane does give a nice POD, no Swan makes it difficult to sleep, hopefully Sloane starts to step it up like i want him to. :D My side isn't ranked very high, because i held my trades for so long trying to get in an awesome position for league wins, although i still believe i can hit the top 10k. Yes to the first one, is was either Broughton or Shaw at D8, and with Broughton out the decision is easy.
To the 2nd one, depending on how i use the remaining 4 trades, may decide whether i do Sloane >> Swan or potentially Gibson >> Swan!
As i mentioned in an earlier post i would like to get David Hale into my side as bench cover, as he has DPP along with Pattison and Roughead. :D
Rd 16 rank: 1'130

Only out of the 8 in one of my 5 league, where i sit 14th but only 1 game off the 8. :D
Traded Broughton >> Scotland.
hey guys can you please rate my team as well?
3 trades, $14,700
DEF: Deledio, Goddard, Waters, Birchall, Lake, Carrazzo, Hargrave (Darley, Shaw)
MID: Ablett, Boyd, Thompson, Swan, Selwood, Pendlebury (Gibson, Treloar)
RUC: Maric, Cox (Giles, Campbell)
FWD: Beams, Sidebottom, Franklin, Dangerfield, Goodes, Zorko, Martin (Porplyzia, Couch)
PLANS FOR TRADES:
1) NEXT FEW WEEKS - Downgrade Treloar to a rookie (possibly Baguley or Miles, may just wait for finals)
2) AFTER RD 19 - Upgrade Hargrave to Scotland, Heppell or Suckling
3) RD 22-23 - Spare trade, potentially upgrade Lake, Martin or Porplyzia in Rd 23 but doubt that will go to plan ::)
What are your thoughts? Thanks a lot lads

Those plans look fine, can't do much with 3 trades.
Rd 17 score: 2252
Rd 17 rank: top 5k
Overall rank: almost top 20k (Rising fast)
Trading plans: In two minds, neither to be done this week....
1)
Gibson >> Sidebottom
Tomlinson >> L.Brown
Leaves bench like this: (S.Shaw , L.Brown [MID]) (Baguley [DEF] , Couch [FWD]) (Redden , Campbell) (Zorko [MID] , Pattison [RUC])
And 22 premiums on field.
2)
Tomlinson >> L.Brown
Redden >> Hale
Leaves bench like this: (S.Shaw , L.Brown) (Baguley , Gibson) (Hale [FWD] , Campbell) (Couch [MID] , Pattison [RUC])
And Zorko on field.
Question is, is it worth getting better bench cover (Option 2) or get Sidebottom in the side and Zorko in bench (Option 1)
I'm really stumped by this, either way i won't be doing until next week, maybe even Rd 20.
Terrible week for me.....

I learnt something from the weekend, Sloane/Gibson >> Swan MUST BE DONE!!
Zorko >> Fyfe is one spot where i can make money, S.Shaw/Tomlinson >> cheap Def/Mid is another. I may need to do both. So with these trades i'll make sure i do them at optimum time money-wise. It'll leave my team as...

Mids: Boyd , J.Selwood , Watson , Ablett , Pendlebury , Swan << Gibson , Baguley(def) >>

Sounds good, if the plan with your last trade is to go Gibson -> Swan..?
Nice team to finish with.
Yeah, Gibbo > Swan would be great should i make any PF (Hoping to win all 3 semis, since i've set myself up to go through all 4 weeks of finals haha)
Also with Gibbo priced over Sloane, it's the logical option too.
Probably won't be trading this week, should everyone play i'm looking pretty solid.
